Thanks for the answer blade but I would appreciate it if you would let me answer my own thread especially considering that you answered incorrectly.

The republic ships are beyonet class corvettes, IDK it was a model I found that was small enough to be used on my map. I would love to use the consular class corvette (red ship at begining of Episode 1) but there are no publically avalable models.

Also I would love to add droid bombers but again there are no publically avalable model and XSI doesn't work for me.

As for the y-wings, yes they will be included, no they won't be the TCW kind because again there are no avalable models.

Then skin out the exposed area, so it looks like it has a cover.

That much I can do, What I can't do is have all the extra little parts that the TCW y-wings have

Warb_Null and EvilleJedi have pretty much covered all vehicles in the Star Wars universe, their work looks so good there's almost no need to reproduce these models unless you just want the practice. If you use these then you will have to bring them into XSI to prepare them for SWBF2.

Woah a minute - it's legal to import these into SWBF2???

They're all original models and textures, so yes. You'd have to get permission from the author (sometimes authors - I know that Warb_Null doesn't always do his own texturing) to import it, of course.

Suggesting Warb_Null's models (he's made the Republic Light Cruiser from Grevious Intrigue too) did occur to me, but aren't they designed for EaW and FoC? Aside from the difficulty of converting .alo to .msh there's also the fact that they, being designed for an RTS, aren't as complicated as Battlefront models. Of course, if they work well, then that oepns up a cornicopia of new models. (The Executor for example: I realise that you can't use the stock one but so many custom ones were made before FoC was released...)

Would any of you be able to convert these three models for me? Like I said before, I'de do it myself but I haven't the slightest clue as to how to use XSI nor does it work on my computer. If I could get those three models though, it would be awsome. Though if anyone does convert it for me, would they be willing to take the guns off the consular please? I need to use turrets there.

My apologies. I do remember seeing a TCW Y-wing model somewhere, if i remember where it is, I'll let you know.

Monday Update!

I decided that since i'm going on a more Republic Commando style unit setup, I may as well make the locals from RC. So here they are! In todays gallery are geonosian warriors from Republic Commando, or at least as good of a version as I could make in three days for SWBFII. What do you guys think of them? Also in todays gallery are pics of the CIS tank depo (though tanks for some reason refuse to spawn underground I will make this work). As well as some hopefully familiar pictures of the Republic Defense Square, the approach to the droid factory, and the canyon in front of the factory. Enjoy, and make sure you give some feedback on my new unit.

Q&A
-I will be adding Y-wings, even the TCW version if I can find models
-I will include heighna bombers and consular corvettes but only if I can find models for them

Requests to the community
-Still need VO help

darthD.U.C.K made a geo bridge model, you can ask him if you can use it.
