Rends do you have any plans on weapons 4 it? Or is it just 4 recon? You could give it more health and selfdestruct.

About the backpacks, In Mos Eisley they all seem to have backpacks.
And about the Mark IV, I think he most powerfull weapon is to anoy people(and droids) to death, is that possible in Battlefront? :P

Actually guys there's another if you've played Empire At War.

Look.

I'm assuming they're the 501st. My guess is their rank is above the commander (orange).

Imp side:
Sandtrooper -BlackbadgeShocktrooperskin with regular Blasterrifle + grenades
Officer - OrangebadgeShocktrooperskin- Blasterrifle + Pistol + ReconDroid
Sniper - BlackbadgeShocktrooperskin - grenades
This seems right. The white Sand Trooper could be either the Rocketeer or Engineer but I'll leave that upto you.

And I can't remember but were there normal Sand Troopers carrying no backpacks? Perhaps in the movies they were soldiers??

Never use video games as a source, they are very incorrect. Those pauldrons seen in SWEaW are just for team colors...

This vehicle was located next to the cantina entry and also in front of the Rebel Transport in Special Ediion.
I´m not sure what it is. Perhaps a rescue pod or more possible a small spacecraft for alliens.

I used to be really into the Star Wars CCG, which was actually a great source for SW info, and I knew I recognized that vehicle:

Here's a picture of the V-35:

And here's an Imperial vehicle:

EDIT: and here's that other vehicle you had:

I (or anyone) can find more pictures/vehicle ideas for you easy, just say the word.

There really is no correct Data source for things like this. In a map, if you want to make something new, or depart with what has already been done, then do it the way you want. If you want to make it realistic to Star Wars, watch the movies and base what you're doing on what you see. Simple as that.

By the way, it's looking good, as always, Rends.

Maveritchell,
thanks for the links. I realy like the one from the Imperial vehicle because it´s in only one shot in the movie. Just one question: why do you call it Imperial vehicle?
The last one you posted looks a bit different because it doesn´t have viewable engines while the one in the movie has engines.

Oh, I called it an Imperial vehicle not because it's specifically Imperial, but because it was a card from the Imperial(/Dark) side deck instead of from the Rebel(/Light) side deck. That was my mistake; I was unclear. I suppose it's really as neutral a vehicle as anything.

i just wanted to know if you were gonna make Dewbacks spawn at the Imp. camp? It would just add another mode of transportation and maybe give the rider some bonuses or armor? Sry if we already went over this.

The thing about Dewbacks now, Rends, as well as other such creatures, is that custom (new) animations are now possible and very doable. But, yeah.

They take time. Lots of it.

Perhaps if we could contact the author of the JA dewback we can just get the source files with animations included. That would make life much simpler.

This source may not be completely correct, but it's a considered canon and it's definatley fanon - and it's the only one we've got.

I think that simply streching the taun-taun and reskinning could be a way to achieve dewbacks. Not the best, but a possiblity.

That would be awesome. But wouldn't someone have to spend 4-5 hours converting?

You could always do a Ponda Baba skin and a cantina layout like the movies ( On wookieepedia ) with the band playing. :P

I don't know what teams you want to put them on but, ideas for Heroes :

Luke Skywalker (Tatooine outfit, Blaster )

Ben Kenobi

Han Solo

Chewbacca

And do you think you can get the falcon flyable at this time?

Welcome to Gametoast, James.

If it is only possible to do one hero then the best would be Luke Skywalker (Tatooine outfit, Blaster). I think Teancum had Luke (Tatooine outfit, blaster) in Tatooine: Dune Sea. Maybe u should ask Teancum and he might help u.
