I don't know if the Server has to many missions or not, I have the same mods on my game, and I havn't gotten that 500 missions thing message. I also heard that something in the sound folders could make it so a map instantly crashes, any ideas on that?

Alright I understand about the sound files now. Would you be able to tell me what, Sound files I can do without based on the Mods I have installed thanks.

For addon maps pretty much any sound .lvl file this actually does include the conversion pack too.

Guys could I get a reply please here. Which of the Sound folders could I remove? and what about the message I got in the Server log, any thoughts on that. I have a really great professional Server, and I want to have the best Mods possible running as best they can 100% would be great. Meaning being about to play on more of the conversion Maps, and give anyone that plays in the server, a fun and cool game, you guys too, cool check the server out anyone. Feedback is still needed. here is the Server again.Image

you can remove all of the sounds folders they are not needed at all :thumbs:
but only for the mods you want to install

I’ve done some experimenting in my Server with the Mods I installed. I first found that the The Dark Times seems to be a told failure. All the Maps that I picked instantly crashed. So being the case I may as well not run it unless there is some way to fix it. The Battlefront Extreme (2.2) Mod runs well online only a few Maps crashed, 2 of them being CW Hoth and Geonosis GCW. The Mandalorian Wars Project (1.0) also does fine online apart one map and all of its game modes crashing. I still don’t know all of the Maps in the Star Wars Battlefront Conversion Pack that will crash, But I do know quite a few that will crash, Overall most of the Maps in the Conversion pack run, but I’m still trying to get to the bottom of all of them. It’s like some maps will work on some game modes and eras but not in others, and example would be the Naboo: Prototype map GCW and KOTOR work but CW will instantly crash. If the other eras work on that map why not the Clone Wars era. Stuff think that will happen on other maps too, some eras will work on some maps while others won’t. I have done some experimenting with the sound files, and it does seem that removing some files will stop certain maps from crashing. Such as the Kashyyyk: Inlands Map, Hero Assault, and Hunt will crash if the at5.lvl reminds in place, but if removed those maps will work. Although I don’t think that removing any sound folder works, it does seem to matter which folders are removed, some may need to stay in place in over for a certain maps to be recognized by the server. The tes.lvl seems to be an example of this. The tes.lvl runs with the Naboo: Prototype Map if it is removed the map can’t even be selected for play in the server. I found this out because I wanted the CW version of the map to work, and I thought that taking out the file would make it work but none of the eras for the maps responded when I selected them. I’m going by that removing the sound files that seem related to maps such as the at5.lvl will make more game more eras and maps in the Conversion Pack work. But again I’m sure there is more to all of this then just the sound files. What else makes maps crash. Any other ways that can help make it so they don’t. What does a message like this mean in the Server logo WARNING: Addon mission file is missing! The list of available maps may not be complete. I think you're overloading the map list with too many nodded maps. For example, if you try to play Alderaan in a single player session, you can usually get one playthrough, but then the second time the map tries to load, it will CTD. The same goes for the Classic Conquest game mode on any map. The second time you try a Classic Conquest, the server will crash.

I won't act like I know exactly what I'm talking about, because I don't, but I remember reading somewhere that it overloads some sort of memory pool or whatnot...

I see about the memory pool thing, that's interesting. It does make since that the server may just be overwhelmed at times. Since the DARK TIMES Mod doesn't seem to work at all online anyway. Do you think if I removed it that more maps in the conversion pack may work?

It does work; I don't know what settings you're using or how much you're really trying to load at once. I wouldn't be surprised if you simply are trying to use more missions than the game can handle at once - try each mod individually to get the best feedback on them.

Alright I'll take you're word for it. I'll play with the Dark Times Mod a bit more. I made it so the Dark times mod was the only mod on the test server and all tha maps for it still failed. So I'm guessing that the Dark Times Mod is impossble to play online. It's sucks if it's true. If I'm wrong help me check my settings. What makes maps fail anyway.
