After I scaled this down to 0.33 in the ODF and msh.option, this is what Dragonum's ventanator looks like (the other ships have similar problems):

Pieces of his ship will dissapear and reappear depending on the angle you're looking at it. I'm also not completely sure but I think it has no collision (or improper collision) because the activated turrets won't fire at the enemy ship and when you spawn, you die on the spot and your body dissapears.

This problem isn't there when the ship is in full scale so the problem lies in the scaling (also the smaller you scale it the worse it gets).

Would anybody have any solutions to counter this problem?

Most community-made models don't scale well, particularly when you're talking about a lot of polygons. What happens is when you scale it down the verteces get closer. At a certain point SWBF will merge those verts, essentially making things disappear. Mini found this out when he was working on converting Asajj Ventress.

Penguin earlier suggested that I scale it down in XSI. If I do that, wouldn't the verts still be the same distance from each other when they are put into BF2 and thus the enigne will still merge it?

Yup, the only way to fix it is to remodel those parts.

If you can get an "OK" from dragonum, i'll fix these up for you in XSI.
