Yeah, I've seen them both. I think the underground one looks better.

I like the underground one better because upper city battle is just too empty.

Please keep the opinionated discussion here to a minimum - it's fine if you mention when there's a new map up, but it's important to allow everyone to form his or her own opinion for the balloting.

Right you are, mister mitchell.

Anyway, I'm gonna steal kooster's position this time and spread the word: there is a new Taris map, called Taris: Streets.

Wow, the maps are just getting pumped out like mad right now. Shame there hasn't been a contest map yet at JK Files.

Just a quick reminder to everyone working on a map - you have one week left! We have four entries (ok technically five, one is in the queue but not validated yet), which is about where we were last contest at this time. I am sure there will be a flurry of maps submitted as we approach the deadline, but here is some advice as you hit the home stretch:

-Don't forget localization for every language (even if it's English for everyone, put it in there)
-Add a loadscreen
-Do extra rounds of bugchecking, since by and large you will probably be doing all your own beta testing
-Don't hesitate to add some cool little extras to make your map stand out. We have some fantastic tutorials here on GT for things like AI heroes - take advantage of them!

Good luck, everyone - I look forward to seeing your work!

We've got a new map to try:Taris: Sky High (in case you missed it).

I wonder if there will be any other entry before the time elapses.

I am sure you can count on it - look at the relative times maps were submitted for the last contest (keep in mind its deadline was the 21st of December):
http://starwarsbattlefront.filefront.co ... test;11171

Nine out of fourteen submissions were submitted in the last two days of the contest. Only five were submitted prior. Not to say that we'll have exactly the same amount of submissions, but we are on track exactly as the earlier contest was.

What exactly do you mean by "they aren't working"?

Get your submissions in, people! Today is the last day to make any contest entries.

It looks like this is it...I don't think there are any more maps coming in...wonder if I could make a map right now and send it and still have enough time for Just for Laughs(show on around 7:30)... :P Impossible, but even if did finish it, it wouldn't be really good. Oh well. I'll wait t'll the next contest.

What i mean by "they aren't working" is that i downloaded the maps, extracted the files into the add on file of the battlefront game, started the game, and the maps would not even appear in the level selection.
