Battlefront 2 Running problems

Post by jubjoe567 »

Every time I try to load a map, the loading screen comes up, then doesn't load, all the red loading balls fill up, but then it just sits there and does nothing. Eventually I have to open task manager and close Battlefront 2. This has happened every once in a while, but usually I just restart the game and then it will load. But this time no matter what I do it won't load. Does anyone have any ideas?

Try removing any addons you have from the addon folder and try again.

Which OS?

Did you try admin mode and compatibility mode already?

What about your system specs?

Well the specs shouldn't matter, I've had the game for over 2 years and it has worked fine. I have Vista but it hasn't ever caused problems before. But it does work correctly when I delete my addon folder, but I haven't added anything new in a long time and it just randomly stopped working.
