Yes, and you need to resolve the size issue. You don't need to munge all of those files. . .take Tean up on his offer.

the original size is like 600 something mb so with winrar it compresses to about 200 something mb so i dunno how 7-zip makes it more compressed. And I guess the answer to solving the size issue would be take out the unmodded material from the sides so you only got what u need in there...ill try that. If it works ill apply it to my other 2 main mods cage and hypori when i release the next version of those.

there were 3 main speederbike maps in bf1, they were eddie's stunt park, dude where's my kart?, and Tatooine: Boonta Eve. Which I all thought lacked the real stunt/race feeling which i put into my map and yes my map is a ton larger than the others but the only problem with that is that it makes it a little hard to find your way around the first few times you play it because i have not put a map on it yet.

I loved this! This is the greatest map ever [exept for the size. Why, why do I let myself download these massive maps?!]! I also love the hidden platforms beneath the ground that appearently me and one other person know about (Im too lazy to put screenies of them now

). You should make a highway system of those hidden platforms. That would be pure crazyness. (maybe you could add some flyers(may want to make them a bit slower), and an airport above and beneath the ground.
I also love those modded speeders and fightertanks. flying around in that alliance aac is crazyness.
(another little suggestion, make the jettrooper's flying speed faster. I cant get anywhere with him. Love the Dark Trooper though. The DT is the greatest thing since the wheel. Seriously.)
You dont have to take any of these [many] suggestions, I know they would take like a year to do. The map is still pwnage without them.

EDIT:
I also realize that the hidden objects are likely unintentional. Thought it would be awsome to see more of them. Below I have added screenshots of the underground objects. Two are bespin objects, one tat2 object, and one is just the remainder of a patially underground and above ground object.
I apologize for making the thread page take longer to load. I tried to cut down on size. But appearently everyone is spoiled (in my eyes) by speed (seriously, people are complaining about it taking 20 minutes! It took me an hour fifteen to download it!)

SBF_Dann_Boeing wrote:ok i know there a some bugs with the map such as the steep hill glitch which i tried to minimalize, i have yet to figure out how to get a map in and as to why this is such a large file, is because there are modded sides which take up most of the space instead of using default sides.
I think the reason why the modded sides are taking up so much space is because if the munge tools detect a slight change, it will think of it as adding an entire new character, including the targas, the .msh, the .odf's etc., wheras if you didnt mod a character, it gets character data from the rep.lvl or whatever that is already in the gamedata. So if I am correct, the best idea would be to lower the filesize of the modded units's skin, geometry, etc.
Of course, in the BF1 conversions there were new units and the maps there werent as big as this, so I dunno. Alot of it may just be the blunt size of the map (like 4000 x 4000 or whatever), and all of the imported objects (maybe editing the object's skins may help). Also, if there are objects that you didnt use and you munged them along with the map, you may want to get rid of those.
Just my thoughts on the subject.
And on the steep hill glitch, It will probably be impossible to fully get rid of that, plus there is fun to be had with going underground. It adds dimension to a game of tag, and theres my above post.
I apoligize for my double post, and for bumping the topic. I felt it was a rather large addition, and I didnt want it to go unnoticed by people who have already read my first post, then not thinking I updated it because the topic wasnt bumped. Again, sorry.

its ok, yea as for an explanation for the underground peices, i really dont like deleting objects becaues of a glitch with zero edit, that causes another random object to be deleted when ever i delete something, so i just trash them under ground, i put a few pecies under the half-pipe as another viewing area like the one above it so u can watch people on the halfpipe

This map is a lot of fun. It was a good idea to make the speeders almost invincible. I like the new version of the Jet Trooper too, although it looks a bit weird to run in slow motion. Maybe you should just leave it with the faster Jedi speed. It'd be cool to see that used in a regular map sometime.
To add to the note of falling through on steep hills, near the default starting CP for the Republic there is a mountain you can fall through if you drive into it just right. It is hard to explain where it is, but when you leave the CP area, head right and stay on the left side of the screen you'll hit it soon.
Good job overall.

Dude, even though this is the greatest map you've ever played, it's against the rules to bump old topics!
