How do i replace the default lvl files?

Hi all, in data were the default map lvls are for sides, I want to replace those with new ones that have skins.
I made a world called MA1, and put cis and common in there, munged it, opened my addons folder, copied cis.lvl and cisshell.lvl and pasted them in C:\LucasArts\Star Wars Battlefront II\GameData\data\_lvl_pc\side. They were similar in size, only mine were a bit smaller (could be because of other mods?). I then deleted MA1 and ran the game. In the cis files was a skin that i repainted for jango fett. I loaded teh mos eisly hero assault, selected the villains side, and it crashed to my desktop. What am I doing wrong? Thanks

if you run the game with the bf2_modtools.exe (more information can be found in the everythingyouneedthread) and look at the errorlog it creates, you will see that the game cant find a few common weapon odfs (com_weap_whatever). this happens because pandemic for some reason put these files into each (?) side directly rather than in the commonside. just copy over all the odfs that are missing from the common\odf folder to your cis\odf folder and it will work.

I put my disk in and it says to insert cd 1?
Does it have to do with my real battlefront 2 exe having a no-cd hack?

download and use the .exe from the top of the everythingyouneedthread rather than the one that came with the modtools.

no, these are common errors that always happen, see "bfron2.log errors explained" on top of this forum for more information.
in your case these are the problems:

EntitySoldier "cis_hero_countdooku" missing animation bank "dooku"

EntitySoldier "cis_hero_darthmaul" missing animation bank "maul"
it seems like you forgot to copy the "munged" folder, which contains the animations, from assets\sides\cis to your cisside.

K, here is my unmunged folder. it includes the jango skin. Could you tell me what I am missing or if you can even munge it and get it to work?

Does vista munge fix have anything to do with it?
