Update -

This map is back in development. Includes campaign mode. Working on second and final section (first section is pretty much like a stock campaign: capture cps, blow up things, go to locations), in which you'll play as a lone commando (not an RC one, they take too long to munge) inside the seperatist cannon's powerplant. Lots of sneaking around tunnels and blowing up stuff.

Simple ODF edit. Stops hover vehicles floating on water. The Commando you get for the last section can move around safely underwater too.


little more info on objectives:

Comm Station - need to blow up shield control here (unshields tunnel to underground base).

Looks nice... especially that there is more than just 'kill 'em all and capture this CP' in this map.

Update-

Sides:
New custom CW sides (similar to old ones, many visual improvements [effects and models], some different weapons).

Campaign:
Now works in a similar way to Eggman's Aldura Landfall - you play as a single soldier, allied to a team of republic units (actually locals). You have 6 'lives' (can get more from completing objectives and from certain items scattered around the map). This means (a) stupid AI don't lose you reinforcements and (b) don't spawn in the cave/comm station cps when you're doing the commando part.
Oh, and you unlock more 'Equipment Kits' (extra troop classes, called things like 'Heavy Weapons Kit' and 'Commando Kit') as you progress through objectives.

this looks like mav's map of the underwater map i mean the style no that its under water like rivers leading to a point (in mavs' tunnel leads to a secret base).

i cant wait for this. i like the Comm Station. i cant wait for this and once again skyhammer pulls out another stunning map.

Here's my first elaborate design/trap for campaign: CIS scanners (these are just the effects, they use scaled down turbine ends for props). If you step into a green one the incinerators set above it kill you. The blue one (have to fusion cutter the control panel) lets you pass uninhibited. The red one (not used in Ark Mion: Inlet) is a damaged/unstable scanner, with its incinerators firing constantly.

Only have one so far in inlet - it covers the tunnel entrance to the main CIS base. Run into it when it's active and the incinerators set around it fire, killing you.

Update on the new CW sides: pics below show a little of them, and (mostly) explain themselves.

EDIT:

Grenade Types:

AntiInf Grenades (Gas/EMP)- Good vers enemy troops, don't stick, carried by snipers and troopers.
AntiVeh Grenades (Concussion) - Stick to vehicles/buildings, good vers them, throw troops, carried by heavies.
Sonic Grenade - knocks over everyone in a large area, doesn't affect allies.
Thermal Detonator - sticks to none, larger explosion, effective vers all, carried in small numbers (only 1-2), most troops carry 1.
Energy Pulse Grenade - Like TD but sticks to stuff, more power. Only carry 1 at a time.
MHI-EMP Grenade - disables vehicles.
