The Conversion Pack is so worth the 700+mb download. Well done to everyone involved in its development, it really is a masterpiece.

However, I did notice a small problem regarding weapon icons on the HUD. It may happen with other units I haven't played as yet, it only seems to be a problem with Bossk and the Classic Conquest Pilot Droid currently, but whenever I play as either of these the weapon icon for their primary weapon doesn't appear next to the ammo status on the HUD, but instead near the centre of the screen. Although this doesn't really hinder my enjoyment of the Conversion Pack, it can be at times be distracting to have a gun icon in the middle of the screen. Does anyone else have this problem or is it just me (in that case a re-install of the pack might fix the problem)?

Hmmm.... I remember having problems with that in the older version, and other maps. It didn't really annoy me at first, since I just ignored it but now it does. Luckily I trashed all my maps when I got the Pack, so I don't have to worry about it anymore. Is it just those units? Cause I don't play Classic Conquest, so I wouldn't know. I would suggest maybe reinstalling the pack. 'Cause I did have that problem and many others when I first installed it, but then I took it out and installed it again and everything worked fine.

I found another glitch. On GWC hero capture the flag on YavinIV arena, when you press m for map the game freezes. Then if you press it again the game resumes with no hud. The only way to get the hud back is then to press esc twice. There's also a hud issue with Prince Xisor's pistol. It's floating in the air. This is just nitpicky though and I highly doubt it will be changed.

Absolutely awesome job you did on this conversion pack. It is at least as good and I think most would say, better than Battlefront II itself. Very impressive. Thank you! :)

Hey Tean or Mav, I have a question... Say when I go to places such as Kashyyyk or Utapau in the regular BF2 maps with they have the customized legions that you guys put it?

No, they've got the regular ones so that you can play online with people who don't have the pack.

Finally! Ive waited 2 years for this one! Besides Multiplayer crashing everytime a lvl has fininshed loading its awesome! :bowdown: :clone:

I forgot to mention that I was able to get the 1.3 patch to install into my game by editing the path to the Battlefrontii.exe in the .bat file. So thank you Zerted, Teancum, Mav, and others. However, I'm having some trouble in Hero Assault on Endor. The enemy's CP's change into allied CP's, which of course makes it impossible for the enemies to spawn. It's not like they're captures, they just spontaneously go from Red to Blue.

Hey, I have a question... When you guys put the HUDs back for the vehicles, did you put them in all or just the space ones? Because when I was in a IF-TX or a AT-XT and tried to go to the 1st person view (inside cockpit) the control was disabled like it didn't let me. Is this a common problem or what?

Ground vehicles in Battlefront II never had First Person view. You can only be in a vehicle in Third Person view. The only flyers with the new cockpit view (in this case what you are referring to as the "HUD") were the ones that were originally from Battlefront I (X-Wing, TIE Fighter, etc). So no cockpit views (yes for First Person) for the new flyers (V-Wing, ARC-170, etc).

There are no first-person views in original maps on stock vehicles, because that would require a modification of the original sides - which disables online compatibility. Remember that anything that modifies assets used as "originals" (original scripts, sides, etc.) will affect online compatibility.

And land vehicle first person views can be added, but the option to switch between first- and third-person does not exist (for hovers/walkers). It is because of that lack of option that we chose to leave first-person views out for anything other than new flyers.

I played one map on in the KotOR era, and loved it. It felt right for the era. But the thing that annoyed me to the point of posting it; some nutcases were shouting about something called tie fighter/intercepter. Ever heard of it? :?

That's one of those bugs that we decided just wasn't worth the effort to fix. There were just so many itty bitty ones like that that we decided to leave all those little ones. Otherwise we never would have been able to release it. :yes:
