it looks as if the only thing you did was use a filter. BUt they are ok i guess.

umm, there is no real use for them, is there? Boredom is not the best inspiration :P. And it does not look "selfmade", but as if you applied some filters to it. The first one looks usable for Comic maps maybe, but the others have too many (and too big) 100%-black areas. Bobas helmet is too spotty.

here is my new skin...I think it´s pretty good and if you want to use it I´ll try to give you the real tga..
Hell, make the scratches with a 1px brush, please. Don't you see yourself they are way too big and soft? It's scratches, not white airbrush-color^^. While the scratches are too soft, the markings are kinda "un-anti-aliased", funny, ain't it? And the scars are too centered, you especially notice that on the shoulder armor. Make more scratches at the edges, where they occur. Think of how the stuff is used, where scrapers come up most likely and why. I know, every tutorial says that, but still :P
Apart from that it looks nice, just take care that you keep the shadows on the green markings!

(More constructive criticism would be healthy for this topic, mates^^ Compliments are always good, but one always tries to improve his skills, right?)
it is my third skin I made (not sure but I think it is) and I´ve never been good at painting with computer programs...and thanks for the constructive criticism..I think I need more of it and it´s much nicer than people that just say "that skin sucks", "crappy" and stuff like that...

Well, this is not much, I took the Clone Troopers texture on the Imperial Storm Troopers texture...

That's very interesting, Linus. Have you tried putting a stormtrooper skin on a clone trooper?

No, I will do that right away. But I have tried the Kashyyyk-sniper skin on the Imperial Scout. It turned out really nice... ;)

Since the Ep. III clone trooper skin and the stormtrooper skin don't line up completely, in a few places it's smudged and messed up (most notably, those big black smudges on the knees). The best way to do it is simply copy the face from the Ep. III clone and paste it over the stormie's face. Then you won't get those black smudges on the knees and stuff, and won't have to worry about the skins not lining up.

Hehe, that's pretty cool Linus. To bad you cancelled your Hoth map, that skin would do great in there.

Thanks guys, if you have any suggestions, please say so.

Oh, and if anyone is interested in using it in a map or such, let me know and I'll upload the original .tga file.

I have a feeling that it's a modified clone sharpshooter skin that has been pasted onto an Imperial heavy trooper; although you'll have to ask Linus or Aksel3 for confirmation.
