im surprised nobody has thown out the idea of an Avatar based map, granted it would take an insane amount of new models, and very hard to pull off and be good.

I thought about it ^ but then got the game, realize how many freaking new model it would require (Almost all new foliage along with character anim, skins, vehicles, animals, etc!)
It would be cool... but I think I'm better off learning how to mod the Avatar game...

Hi i have an idea for a mod i could not do my self.
a patch so that you can play campanges and Galexi conquest multi with i-net or Lan.

I don't know if anyone else here has read any matthew reilly books but the teams in that would make for an awesome game in bf. this would be quite hard to do, requiring quite a lot of new reskins/models of descriptions in the books as there are no actual pics..... but the books do have detailed descriptions for maps

an other idea for a updata is that the pc play the hero in all mods if you don't. becasue it's bad if you have Darth Maul and kill all from the rep without an real enemy.
withe the rep it isn't such a big problem because the magna guards are very strange(i mean the one from BFx)

if it hasn't been done yet, its probably because it would be quite hard to do.........making it online compatible seems like it would take a heap of work to make it work well........that's if its even possible.

with the 1.3 patch you can make your own Galaxi conquest and maybe it is posible to mak there another buton "play online" or something else and the second player musst have this patch too and he klicks on this to and than on "waiting" while the other select the conquest and start it.
How this shout work??

sorry if this is offensive to you but i'm afraid you'd have to be a pretty experienced scripter to do this, and i'm afraid it'd be a lot more complicated than adding a "play online" button

i have no idea how to make this (i also don't know wich file to cahnge..) and i'm sure that this will be very complicater than change the hero in a new map.
But maybe someone else know have to do.

My idea for a map mod is a Dethstar which is very realistic.
with more than 1 floor. you come to an other floor with turbo lifts.
in the hangars of the dethstar are starfighters. outside there are lots of ships of the rep bzw the reb.
later there can be added that the Lasercanon of the deathstar can be used against the big classes like the vancor or mon calamaris.
and that the death star can be destroid.
if you are interesst pleas say.
minimum:
i need one for the mission
one for XSI because there are always some new objekts you need.
one for the space area because i never mad a space map befor.
one how knows how to make a turbolift and deathregions and barriers.
and maybe one how help me with the deathstar.
othere wise i can't finish the mod and so i won't beginn.

This sounds more like a request than an idea.
