Oh, my apologies--it seems Dathomir is best characterized by its valleys. :P The map started as Dathomir: Valley of Mist, but that wouldn't fit on the screen, so I shortened it.

Wow, I'm really liking this. The screens look great, and the videos add a lot to the presentation as well. It sounds like you're implementing some really cool ideas, so I look forward to seeing them in-game.

As for ideas for a new Imperial unit, you could have one similar to the Saboteurs in Jedi Academy (the ones with pistols, rifles, or sniper rifles and cloaking abilities). I've tried making that unit before just to experiment and it's surprisingly easy to do. Just take the shipped officer model, then give it invisibility and whatever other weapons you think would be appropriate.

I already made a P1 a long time ago somewhere. I'll link the skin if anyone wants it or if the guy here wants to make a P1 for the Empire.

This is a great map. I love Dathomir. In-fact, this probably suits one of the machinimas I'll be starting on sometime when I have time.

You've got my download when it comes out.
give the pII dark trooper a rotary blaster with green blaster bolts (arc caster s**ks, and have you ever seen a DT in any other game with an arc caster?)
Technically, their assault cannon in Dark Forces fired blue pulse rounds as their primary fire on the assault cannon. It's be nice to see an actual re-defined assault cannon inspired fully off of the first Dark Forces. I would send my model off to someone who wants to finish it and modify it for mod use, but I doubt anyone wants to mess with the polies and tris and all that jazz that I had on them. It's really messy in a lot of places, and I don't think anyone would want to help finish it and get it in game. If someone wants to truly help me, just contact me.

I've actually been trying to reskin Gogie's HK-47 model to look like a Phase I Dark Trooper, but I could try the magnaguard, too. We'll see which looks better. If you have a good skin, RevanSithLord, I'd love to see it.

I was also briefly considering a Noghri assassin unit, but I'm not sure what I would reskin to get it. Dark Trooper PI would definitely be cooler, though, and if I can get a convincing reskin I'll go with that. How would I get a shield on there, though?

I think something with hexing on the shield or something that I've heard awhile back. Like whoever made the gungan shield, retexture or reskin it, and attach it to the left hand of the magnaguard or reskinned HK47 (model of your choice) and the same thing goes with a sword on the right hand. I dunno, but I'll give out my skin shortly.

Anyway, I'm still making progress on this map, but it's looking less and less like I'll be able to get it ready for release before I go back to school. I'm still going to work on it, and it's still not going to be that far from release, but school does take first priority over modding. I can't anticipate how much of a load it is going to be on my life. You've been given fair warning! :P
