Portal: Prelude.

Hey guys, all of you who have played it loved it to no end, Portal. Now ask yourself what would it be like to be a test subject before the GLaDOS project was complete. When scientists watched you from the observation rooms.

Its story revolves around the pre-GlaDOS epoch, even before she was plugged in. At this time, test subjects were monitored by real Aperture Science employees, whose work was tedious, lengthy and repetitive. This is why they decided to build a great artificial intelligence that could both replace them in these difficult tasks, and also take responsibility for many other tasks within the complex and compete with Black Mesa's superiority. All employees of the Aperture Science complex are now eagerly awaiting GlaDOS. Maybe even a little too eagerly, as the upcoming events will tell...

It offers a bit more gameplay hours than the original Portal, with 8 chapters, 48 challenges, 6 advanced maps, a brand new storyline and more than 400 lines of speech with english and french subtitles.

This is Portal: Prelude.

Just finished playing it yesterday. It was interesting...don't try skipping test chamber 18, you'll regret it.

I loved the ending though, and the puzzles were well designed.

Are there any insanely hard puzzles like in the Flash Version Mappack? And do you use the Portal gun? (I'm guessing so)

OK, is it just me, or are the levels in this really hard? I'm stuck at testchamber 2

They are insanely hard. I got stuck at Test Chamber 10, but otherwise it's okay...

But this is REALLY good! It's definitely one of the better mods out there!

EDIT:
Oh, and if someone could download all the songs from HERE (from the game) and compress and upload it, I'm sure we'd all appreciate it.

(I might do it myself, but it'll be at least tomorrow until I could.)

I'm doing it now. I'll post a link when I'm done.

Also, do you NEED Portal installed to play this? Or just a Source game? Because I can't install Portal due to the fact that I need internet on my computer in my room, which I don't have.

[EDIT]
The soundtrack is uploading - I formatted the metadata for you guys too.
But I gotta go, so I'll post the link later

Yeah, I figured, but it says you should have Portal on the site.
Anyways, I uploaded the soundtrack. I formatted all of the metadata/file names for the songs too.

Enjoy.

Hip hip, horray!

You probably need Portal because even with the Portal practice, Prelude is still hard, and also because it would be weird playing Prelude before you play Portal.

Well, it is a prelude, so wouldn't it make sense to play it before Portal?
