WP:Smuglers Camp on Tatooine.

This is a map i pretty much started to test models i created.
But it kinda got a life on its own, so i kinda decided to show it off.
One of my plans is to try to create a tunne in the "mountain" behind the base, but i am not to sure how to pull it off (i guess il find the answer after a Forum search).
The imp base wil be behind the camera and i migth give the imps a TiE bomber...just for fun.
The hero on the smugler\bandit side wil be Solo (ofcourse) and on the imp side Boba (who else would hunt solo before he joined the rebs?)
I do not know how "balanced" this map wil be, and i do not know how to make the AI play any good (never actualy made a map with objects and AI before.)

ok, this looks like it will be awsome, i like the map build really much but here's just one question: maybe if it's possible, could you add an underground map too, i mean, just make tunnels in the bunkers and have one big room underground with CP, that would be good i think, as long as you know AI planning.
this seems very good.
BTW: the name of the topic should be "W

I am pretty tempted to create a indoors map, i am just WAY to unskilled in ZeroEdit to make it go smooth (do not know how to just render the neccary rooms) and AI planning... i do not know squat about that.

How to i use the tatooine skybox?
Ive seen the Clone pistol beeing used as the DC17 Carbine(Holding it as an rifle), how did you guys do this? (since this is an smugler and bandit base i want those people to have diffrent looks at the same type of gun)

Done some thinking (thats a rare fenomonon) and.. is it possible to edit the Tatooine sky so its becomes nigth or dusk, got a feeling the empire would abush them with 4 tie bombers closer to the nigth (thinking about giving the Smuglers a Sniper tower to balance the bombers...or just leave the bombers out of it.)

If ya know how to add shoulder pad to a Stromtrooper model i would love it.
Other then that i could need the rebtroops look moore smugler and criminal'ish.

The Imperial Heavy Trooper uses the (Ep. IV) sandtrooper model. You just need to change his weapons. You can have every unit use that model. It's a really easy fix. For the Rebels, you have all sorts of choices. You probably want to ditch the standard rebels, and replace them with the more exotic units. Wookies and Bothans are still good choices. You could reskin the Palpatine model with a normal face and have him walk, and then voila, you have a smuggler who prefers to shroud himself in secrecy.

I know Teancum's working on making a male Twi'lek work, you could check that out in the (BF1 Conversion Pack) thread about New Units. The stormtrooper Luke and Han models are good to work with if you just want an armored human. The key is, think outside of the constraints of just what's included with the ALL side.

Is there a way to take the "backpack" off the heavy trooper?
And i am kinda playing with the idea to give alle the smuglers difrent weaponds. but to do that i gotha create my own guns.
To do that i need some info on how to do the gun usable for the troops, is there a quick fix for this?

I remember you from your cancelled Coruscant Sewers map. You're a promising mapper indeed...
For the Bomber, yes, please do. To make it Impy though, you should have where they land be a duracrete slab with markings for them where to land (and spawn, naturally)
The bunkers are great but need more variety with building types seen. Make like an admin complex?
Nooooo Wookies! (not really Bounty Hunterish IMO!) I've got Jabba working on an aqualish model you'd be free to use if you want. Bothans sound okay but be sure to have them look more like a smuggler coder/sclicer. (reskin it)

You're completely right. Not bounty-hunterish at all. I mean, Chewbacca wasn't a smuggl... oh, wait.
