When ever I place objects in ZE, they are at a set level, ergo they end up eight miles high or halfway underground. Or completely underground.
How can I fix that?

you can read the docs but by holding the middle mouse button and c you can move the object linearly on the "z" axis if you hold the left it's the x i believe and right y (not 100 percent if that's the right order but i know middle is z, i've been doing this subconciously so i forget really)

What he's saying though is that he places it properly and in-game it's all messed up.

have you rescaled your map at all like change the dimensions?

Okay.
Yes, custom odfs. Lord_Bandu's Saleucami trees and redlines dead clones. I believe shipped assets remain at ground level.
In ZE the objects appear at a set height, so they end up floating or underground. This is in both ZE and ingame.
I don't have a middle mouse button, I'll check if there is an alternative. No there is not. I'll see if the scroll works.YES! Scroll works. Solved. Mods can lock this now.
