Envelope freeze XSI 5.11

Well, i was trying to get my trenchcoat guy Player model ingame, so i am following Vyse's tut, and when i get to the enveloping stage, i get this:

xsi, freezes up and stands still. The "yes' "No" and "cancel" buttons freeze. when i move the mouse over "X" it highlights, but when i click, nothing happens. :cpu:

am I doing something wrong?

envelope operator you must put YES and then select all bones , after that right click

that's the problem, i can't select yes, it freezes at that screen.

are you sure freeze? or only freeze pero some minutes XD?

Also what is already enveloped to the bones? Can tell that because they are colored.
Is the skeleton the grounddummy model? Is the grounddummy model still there?
Not that it should cause the freeze, just curious.

also bones could to be coloured by enveloped his shadowvolume XD

i have not enveloped anything yet, should something be enveloped?

? um, it is the unit_template_beta if that's what you mean.

oh BTW, if my mesh is not one model, is that bad? it has 3 textures, so i can't merge it all can I?

Depends on the merge, do you have bits that are going to have an override texture? If not then yes you can merge them all into one mesh. Just make sure to click on the transfer properties tab.

And yes unit_template_beta is what I meant.

select the models and click create>polymesh>merge, then click both transfer whatever-buttons , set the tolerance to 0,001 and click delete
