I like to see what other peoples favorites of music are (you can probably see from my other music topics).

But anyway... post your favorite scary music. Something with a weird atmosphere... make sure its appropriate.

Here is mine-

^ from Dead Silence

and second-

Turn this one up really loud, does anyone else find this eerie. When I played the game I got freaked out, be sure to tell me what you think.

Reminds me of a haunted hall in one of those mansions from the french revolution... Henry Viii in his hampton court palace. I hate that guy.

EDIT: changed sentence a bit.

Don't know how many of you guys are anime fans, but this song is creepy enough that it's among my favorite soundtracks.

*Wonders how many different music type-related topics there are gonna be*

Hm... I think I'll have to get back to you on this one. There are definitely certain moments that come to mind (all from games :P), but I donno if I'd call them the scariest/eeriest. I remember a level way back when for the game SWAT 3 that featured a soundtrack that scared the crap outta me all by itself. There were zombies and serial killers and stuff on the map, but the soundtrack... wow. I wonder if I can track that level down...

Absolutely not. I remember I started a music review thread a while back, it was fairly popular, but it's buried now. There is rarely such a thing as too much exposure to music.

Agreed, and I'm not exactly much of a music person, either.

The scariest star wars soundtrack is the one when padme is looking out the window to the jedi temple.

You can sometimes here the music when you play mustafar in battlefront...

Lads, if you listen to any of these songs before bed, listen to this. It'll suck the fear right out of you.

I still believe Penderecki is hard to top.

Davy Jones' Theme from PotC is pretty eerie. In addition, the combination of Jurassic Park's absolutely beautiful theme and the darkness of the movie creates a rather creepy effect at some points.

Meh. It's kinda creepy, but the ludicrously ridiculous setting kinda nullifies it.

In My Spirit The theme song for the end of the world. Made even better with this.

Go Da Da. One of the most menacing songs ever, and it's played on kazoos.

This song. I honestly have no idea what this song is, but it's in a Slenderman video which automatically makes it creepy.

:( It doesn't really create a creepy atmosphere.
