not bad, not bad at all

Not bad at all, but I would recommend redoing the muzzle. It looks very high-poly. The average player will not want to play whatever map that model is on, especially if every unit has it. Lower the polies. Textures can do the rest. So can bumpmapping and lighting and reflections.

Waaaaaah,
Way better then my rifle model... If you happen to finish it and get exported, do you think you could send it to me?

My first detailed sketchup model, I call it the Trident-Class Starfighter. It's actually based off a Lego model my little brother made

. Obviously being sketchup the texture isn't that great.
It's not my first model, but it's my best one. I have it in the Warehouse if anyone wants to improve it to their tastes...

Conqueror-Class Atmospheric Dreadnaught (exclusive to Terra Sool: Atmosphere)

Terra Sool Milita Fighter (exclusive to Terra Sool: Atmosphere)

Waiting Area in a starport (Urban variant)

Holodisplay of starport in service module (Urban variant)

Accessway between Service Module and a waiting area (Urban variant)

Service Module in a starport (Urban variant)
A few untextured models I made in the last 15 minutes...

So you made all of those in 15 minutes?

My ship took about 2 hours.... And of course, comments are appreciated.

I'd like to see those models solid frame and with more views. They looks pretty good.
And Gangster, I might take the fighter and improve on it. I like the design.

Cool beans. I'd like to see what you come up with.

Here it is:
I too put it up on the 3D Warehouse, in case you or anyone else wanted to see it.

Cool, like what you did with it. I'm probably going to make a few more of my Lego models, there are a number of pretty cool ones I have.

Looks good, but I'd be real careful about those standard Sketchup circles. They make the poly counts skyrocket. Try using the polygon option instead of the circle option.

Or use the circle with a low side count (type in #s when making a circle to set sides).

Biohazard, remember that you need to invert the opolies so that the white is facing out, or else most of the polies in your map will be facing the wrong way.

I don't think he's using that as the actual map, that's just his layout....I hope....
