and me and a mate of mine searched this up on the net and scriptures are real but when he told me i pooed my slef. but i 100% doubt this is real. but disscuss here. try not to be negative. comment on the film and that it could be true. not last wishing stuff

Tell me about it. Roland Emmerich's new film "2012" is nothing more than propaganda for that idiotic 2012 apocalypse sensation. A more appropriate title would be "We're smart for making this up and you're dumb for believing it".

Then personally all the movie is good for is to freak people out about something that isn't going to happen. In 2013, everyone that proclaimed 2012 was doomsday are going to look like the biggest idiots ever.

That's my take on the movie.

movie just looks like a way to capitalize on gullable people's fear. and even if the world does come to an end in 2012, what can we do about it? so theres no point in worrying.

anyway, didn't the world end at the start of 2000?

The movie looks completely ridiculous. Independence Day is a guilty pleasure of mine but other than that I don't think Roland Emmerich has made anything worth seeing. I kind of wish he'd just go away...

But still, movies such as this either have a cookie-cutter story of none at all.

This movie seems familiar. Like The Day After Tomorrow also by the same director.

While I think that all the 2012 end-of-the-world stuff is a load of , I do wanna see the movie. I like disaster films, and it does look cool.

I'll pass on this one...enough apocalypse movies for one decade please...

K, since little inconsistencies like these are a pet peeve of mine, they actually didn't make it up, it was in fact an old Mayan prophecy, which has gained alot more preeminence lately as the date gets ever closer... Honestly I think it's a load of baloney.

Probably not going to see the movie either...

which was based on some crazy conspiracy about the world ending, all technology failing, and Jesus not coming to save us.

Those people would be the Myans. My friends say that if the world does end, then the Myans made another true prediction. Judgement Day comes at least 7 years before armageddon. So another load of waffle.
