I agree w/ Twilight. Mon Calamari is his home planet anyway so why wouldn't he make an appearance? Anyway, trailer looks really epic! Would like to see it in better quality but since its a leaked I will wait for LA to officially release it. Season 4 is gonna be da bomb!Twilight_Warrior wrote:Ackbar better have an appearance. Or else.

I think you are totally right, I also think Clone Wars makes little kids think a different way of star wars. They are like: "OMG Ahsoka and Captain Rex are the coolest", without ever seen the original trilogy...Herrmann wrote:I dunno what u think, but for me it's kinda strange that the Phase I clone troopers get mixed up with the Phase II (ARC-)clone troopers. Of course u gotta take into account, that it's a star wars series for lil children, but I'm wondering if that what the kids see on TV ain't hokin up the ideals and the image of the original star wars, like they get a completely wrong imagination of that what star wars really wants to convey to them. Or am I exeggerating?

Not to burst your bubble, but this isn't an "I love TCW" thread, so why should they have to start an "I hate TCW" thread? It's the point of General Discussion, some people have varying thoughts and opinions. You can't just tell them not to post here simply because they don't share your opinion completely.THEWULFMAN wrote:Darth-Erik, guys, start a I hate The Clone Wars thread if you want to talk about whats wrong with it. Its your opinion, thats fine, I just dont want to hear it here, when this thread is for fans to talk about the next season, not to hear the haters rag on it. So please keep such discussions elsewhere, thank you.![]()

They gave valid reasoning with explanation as to why the show rubbed them the wrong way, and quite frankly, they make a point. It's not like they be trollin' by just saying "dis sux lawl". They don't even say they dislike the show. But you have to admit, it does kind of drift away from the magic of the original trilogy.

I think you're being a bit irrational and dogmatic here. How has a mere TV show like The Clone Wars, that is certainly not watched by everyone, Star Wars fan or not, alike, prevented society from ridiculing girls (age range?) for liking the Star Wars franchise? What was it like before TCW?THEWULFMAN wrote:...and also thanks to TCW, it is considered socially cool for a girl to like star wars now.

You mean connect the series to existing C-canon rather than overwriting it because they're T-canon and therefore better than every other piece of Star Wars EU out there?!?!? THEY CAN DO THAT?!?!?AQT wrote: Anyway, the trailer sure does look cool. Maybe they will show in this upcoming season how Ackbar ends up working for Tarkin.

And there were plenty of Star Wars merchandise and products aimed at girls before TCW. I'm going to stop the argument here since there are so many factors to consider to even accept these generalizations. Personally for me, I've never went or seen anyone goTHEWULFMAN wrote:It isn't just the show, Ashley Eckstein has come out with AFAIK the first lineup of star wars themed clothes just for girls.
If you set your own standards, then that day can be today.Personally I will enjoy the day when it doesn't matter what you like depending on your gender.

I could release a clothesline for girls with my butt on it, doesn't mean it'd sell or be socially accepted. (Ok wrong example, it probably would. Let's try again.)THEWULFMAN wrote: It isn't just the show, Ashley Eckstein has come out with AFAIK the first lineup of star wars themed clothes just for girls.
Ok, you have the manly girls thenPersonally I will enjoy the day when it doesn't matter what you like depending on your gender.
