yeah, the magna guard will only have a staff, or it will only have a staff and a bulldog

Cool to see you got XSI (welcome to the nightmare that is no glow), but this question must be asked:

Is your map close-quarters enough to warrant the magnaguard having an electrostaff? If they can block oncoming blaster fire, then thats good (if slightly unrealistic), but don't you think they would get blasted before they can get into striking range? :|

they will have block, and they will be a normal unit to balance the map out, currently the Clone Commando with all his weaponary as well as all the clones equipted with Plasma Grenedes is a bit unbalencing.

I don't think they should have block, they wouldn't have quick enough reactions (the Jedi are only able to block because they use the force) and the staffs wouldn't deflect blaster fire. They aren't lightsabers.

let them move like maul, that way they'd have "droid reflexes" or whatever. be harder to hit, but not invulnerable like jedi.

oh come now, why dont we give them obi wan or lukes moves or something, why does everything that is double bladed Have to have darthmauls moves. I mean, they're getting really old.

I'd say no blocking, but to balance this out give them their Bulldog, Neuro Poison and Recon Droid. That way, they should use their Bulldog mainly but have the staff available for CQC.
