setting up a hovernaut and assault mode trouble

sorry for asking all these questions but i have been trying to set up a hovernaut in my map and it has failed about 5 times....
i can get other vehicles from the convo pack working and atte's and atats working fine but for some reason they just don't work. i add the command vehicles line and the readdatefile line properly and the map loads up fine but the hovernaut just doesn't want to show up....
i have also been having trouble changing a land assault game. i can't seem to add any convo pach heroes to the game, but it works just fine in conquest...
also i have the convo pack installed and was wondering if i would be able to add kotor heroes to my map and if so, how..

You'll have to find their assets in the
Released Assets section of this forum, download them, and add them like you would any other hero.

Sorry. I actually did not know you could do that. So, you could do that with any side, right? As long as you knew the unit names, of course...

Well, show us luas, req files, all that jazz. We can't see your files so we have no idea what's wrong unless you show us.

Do you have the line
Code: Select all
SetMemoryPoolSize("CommandHover", 2)
in your memory pool section of your lua? Hovernauts are command vehicles, and need to be set up as such.

i have added that part about the commandwalkers....
EDIT: wait a minute! is there such a thing as commandHOVER???

yes the game recognizes a command hover along with command walker and command flyer. All that line does is just add the memory for having an extra moveable cp that is a hover class vehicle (see the UTAT for clarification).

ok thank for that yankfan and xav. never heard of commandhovers before but i'll give it a go......
