object problem

i have recently started modding but enountered a problem. everything works fine except for the objects and the foliage.
if i munge my map it munges everything except for the foliage and the objects. i don't get an error about this.
i find it very strange and so i ask for your help.

Some questions/instructions for us to better understand your problem:

1) Do you have all the necessary files and folders made/copied over? The msh and odf folders, with the files of the objects in it?
2) What is the size of your map? It must be a power of two by a power of two, ie 128x128, 256x256, 512x512, etc.
3) Post your BF2_Modtools.exe Error Log. If you don't know how to do this, just ask.
4) Let's take a look at your PRP file.

2) I guess the standard size
3) you mean the error report that appears right after the munging?
4) sorry but what excactly is a prp file? :roll:

There was a log after munge? if yes post that too.
He ment anouther log but if your munge produces errors thats important too.

The .prp file is in your mod's world 1 directory, open it with notepad.
data_ABC/Worlds/ABC/World 1

In BF2_ModTools you will find a program called BF2_modtools.exe. Copy that program to your Star Wars Battlefront II\GameData folder.

Run it. Play your map for a few minutes and then quit. There should now be a file called BFront2.log in your GameData folder. Open that, and post it here. That is usually the best way to identify problems.

What boxes are you checking when you munge? It looks like you're trying to do something there with sounds...

What directory are you putting your objects in? They should be in BF2_ModTools\data_DTH\Worlds\DTH (and then their respective msh and odf folders.)

i just tried to run it but it keeps asking for the cd which i already inserted :?

You have the DVD version of the game don't you?
Theres a fix for that somewere, but blast if I can find it. :x
