I feel a bit silly asking for help here - but I haven't modded in a while, and I'm pretty rusty.
Okay, so I reskinned some Tantive IV tunnels in Photoshop. I checked the MSH maker to make sure I had the right TGA's. When I was done skinning, I checked out the MSH in MSH viewer - and it looked like the reskin was successful. But then I imported the object into ZE, and it was in it's original skin. I don't know where I went wrong - help?

Re: Skinning Problem
Replace the skin in your worlds folder? Always double check that.

Yep - I made sure to do that. I made sure of that by checking the MSH in my worlds folder with the viewer.

Re: Skinning Problem
Did you look ingame? Also, have you tried a manual clean? You could try opening them up again in an image editor just to check you didn't accidentally overwrite them again.

Yeah, open the skin(s) with gimp and check if they are saved right, and to make sure, resave them with RLE off (you know the drill

Re: Skinning Problem
Making sure the new texture actually did overwrite the old one. If it didn't get munged properly for some reason, it's not going to show up ingame. I'm not saying it'll work, but it's worth a shot.Darth_Spiderpig wrote:What should that help?sampip wrote: Also, have you tried a manual clean?

Well, as I understand his first post, Fierfek didn't ingame testing yet, so probably haven't munged it yet.sampip wrote:Making sure the new texture actually did overwrite the old one. Re: Skinning Problem
I had that once; I replaced a texture with a new one, but it didn't change in both Zeroeditor and ingame. A manual clean fixed this.
