is there a way to put the episode 2 ARC trooper pauldron and waiste cape onto a normal trooper? Then we can use them for commanders

@Blackrider: I thought of that too but couldn't get it to work unfortunetly.

Here's another made up legion I'm working on. Peace keeping/Police Clones specially trained to deal with civilians. They're sent into a newly liberated world to restore Republic law and order.

Are they <clones> Coruscant policemen? :)

Looks more like some kinda sub-zero tundra kinda unit to me. Like snow clones. Might go good with my Nelvaan map, actually...

@JK514: Hmmm...I thought the Shock Troopers were used for that. Any pics of the Coruscant poilce clones anywhere?

@Schizo: True. Probably the blue visor helps that look more. Red visors would probably make them look more like police. :P

Lol. The shock troopers ARE the Coruscant Police. :P Homeworld security. These look really nice though, these are like...GALACTIC Police. :P They look awesome too!

Still, I'd like to use the blue-visor for my Nelvaan map, if that's okay with you. Actually, if you have the time (this is just a suggestion), you could try to design a snow clone skin. Since there really aren't any existing units that are out there, you could probably use your imagination. The Galactice Marines don't count, since they weren't really specifically meant for the snow. They just ended up on Mygeeto.

Still, these are good for now though.

These are here so OTHER people can use them to put in new maps, so if you dont know how to use them, it's useless, that it if you're not a modder. :/

@Jango_Fett_A: I know next to nothing about making maps for BF2...so for now I'm just releasing skins hoping map/mod makers will make use of them.

Here are some more...

Added a red visor to the Republic police clones. I also whipped up some winter camo clones :D

Blast it!

I've been trying and trying, and I can't add skins!

That topic was written...poorly? (:P) so it's hard to make out at best, and then it never works. Arg.

Let me just insert into this thread a quick note to save time and effort :P

The ARC pauldrons/capes, as well as the sniper and sommander capes are indeed cloth attachments, the ODF controls how the cape thingy works as in billowing and such, but the capes are model specific, you cannot change them around. If you read the documentation carefully there is an entire section concerning cloth. Jedi use the cloth attachments, clones use them, but they are all model specific, and cannot be handed around like hats 'unfortunately'

I already attempted to trade them around then got frustrated, checked the documentation and it says quite clearly they have some sort of node or something and it's up to our wonderfull modellers here to add the attachment nodes if we want them on a different model.

Also, nice work with the skins, not all of them are entirely accurate, but they all look great and you are indeed one of the top texture artists here by the work I have seen so far.

it would be nice to have these replace some shipped maps skins... kashyyyk and utapaufor example... unless they are only meant for modding and mapping :|
