My Episode 3 Clone Troopers mod

I am going to make the episode 3 clone troopers for my game. I will NOT be doing this:

Using the Stormtrooper frame - that's getting very old skool.

I will be doing this:

Editing the Clone Trooper frame - mainly the helmet.

These are the troops:

Ground battles

Clone Trooper (White Trooper/501st Trooper generally)
Clone Commander (Red ARC Trooper/Clone Commander dependant on battle)
Heavy Trooper (Blue ARC Trooper/Commander Bacar skin genrally)
Clone Engineer (Geonosis Phase 1 Pilot/Commander Faie Generally)
Jet Trooper (Green markings/Commander Cody generally)

Space Battles:

Clone Marine (ARC Trooper/re-done ARC Trooper with 501st markings)
Clone Pilot (Phase 1 Geonosis Pilot/TIE Pilot re-textured)
(Possibly Clone Space Trooper, like Jet Trooper, but with Red markings/as Commander Bly)

Alternate costumes coming soon.

uhm is this for swbf 1 or swbf 2... cuz there are no "space battles" in swbf 1 apart from hoth: escape.

I will make my own space battles. A lsit will come soon, but Coruscant is included, and the cap ships have different interiors (Most noticable one being the Invisible Hand), and defense cruisers will be boardable, with a troop transport in each one and a turret room. This means that you oryour vehicles won't spawn in space.

You might want to rethink your strategy. Ok so the stormtooper model is you best bet to get a basic Ep.III clone, however if you go with the Ep.II clone model you might want to rethink. The Ep.II model just doesn't work, the head doesnt fit with anything when you skin it. Plus you can't edit the model. Yes you can skin them but well it looks like crap. I suggest you go with the stormtrooper model (even if it is getting old it is still the best we can do) and then skin that from there. The model is the best option until BFII mod tools come out.

Also space battles are not what your gonna expect. If you want to see what BFI space is like then go dl Rends space map (I think he made it). THats pretty much all you will be able to do.

Also what is it with you and Ep.III clones and modding. Do something original! almost everyone has done a Ep.III map with Ep.III clones (in fact I gave up making Ep.III clones for ppl considering its just not original) Go with somethin original.

People say it can be done, and I will most likely use an edited Stormtrooper head anyway. So there. Maybe it can be done after all.

Space Endor
Space Mustafar
Space Geonosis
Space Rhen Var
Space Coruscant
Possibly Space Muulunist

Ground battles:
Muulunist - surface
Coruscant - City Surface
Coruscant - Jedi Temple
Naboo - Order 66
Rhen Var - Order 66
Geonosis - Arena

Re-done battles:
Kamino - Tipoca City (Re-done to allow fliers and GCW)
Geonosis - Spire (Re-done to allow GCW)
Bespin - Cloud City (Re-done to allow fliers in the outer perimeter and walkers/tanks in the interior)

Its good that your optimistic and maybe I'm just pesimistic but where are you gonna edit the model from? Do you have any idea of what you are saying? This was a big debate a little while back and the only person that has gotten anywhere with it was Rends (and no ingame results). It would crash the system! Its not freakin possible! get that into your head!

Now I hate to be the flamer and considering all I really do here is skin, a Ep.III clone trooper mod just isn't original. Go play Battlefront II that has perfect Ep.III models. Haven't got it yet? Its only 50 smackers. Also BFII has space. somethin you can't do very well in BFI.

dl that map, that is the only space map for BFI. That is what is possible.

RDST, it IS possible to make a costum made unit into SWBF1 or SWBF2! all you gotta need is the mesh(es) and bones, nulls and the hieraky in XSI. if you DO have the experience, then it IS possible.

if a model was released with bones, nulls etc. we would probably have tried today.

You don't have patience, do you? Go do some TRLE modding, you will learn patience (I had to, my levels for TRLE kept crashing first of all, an I even learned how to create my own enemies) Don't say it's impossible, because the impossible can be proved wrong.
