Crash when creating a new world

i didn't know if their was a certain thread to put this in but whenever i try to create a new world in the mod tools it crashes please tell me what i am doing wrong and help me

I don't think you can do anything on the computer while it is creating. Don't even navigate to other windows, just leave the computer until the creation is done. If you even click the mouse, it could freeze.

You need to give us more information, what exactly did you do when creating your world, get us your bf2.log, and did you get any errors in your munge log?

I've had this same problem before. Try Uninstalling and Reinstalling Modtools. It worked for me!

Are you sure it crashes/freezes or is it just taking a very long time (and it does take a long time to initially create a world)?
Do you have enough hard drive space for the new world?
Where did you install the mod tools? They don't always work if its path contains a space.
