Need your help :

So, i wanted now to give a cloack to my skin but i realized that is impossible so i wanted to make a other skin with the anakin cloaked skin, so if someone could send here the skin "i'll be thankfull of him" <- does what i said here exist?

thank

Edit:

So i thought about that, and here i will explain you what i realy want to do, i wanted to make an imp guard with the cloak and the cape, and give him a reskinned maul saber in staff and give that guard maul's mouvement, i thought it could be nice 'cause i'm fan of imp guard. but i don't really know how to do that all...
i just thinked about the penguin's magnaguard, she gave him a cape, and created him a staff.
i know you'll say that "ho, he wants us to do all the work" i'm sorry of that, but yes i need somebody to give him a cape with cloack and the staff...

so, here we are.

The only solution is to use the old BF1 Vader or Dooku cape and attach it to the mesh. BF2 cloth capes won't work unless you use that model, and Anakin's model would look silly.

your saying that you can add dooku's cape to obi wan by attaching it to the mesh. What program can you edit .msh with and what/where do you have to add to do this?

By the way, if you want a useful strategy on finding which part of the skin is which, you can color each part differently so that in-game you can see it rather easily...

i can't see it in-game, i've no more bf2 mod-tool

About adding SWBF capes to SWBF II models

Here is a tutorial on how to get SWBF capes onto SWBF II models (wrote by me):

Well ok, it is pretty easy actually, just download the SWBF assets, copy and paste the .msh for count dooku's cape (from the SWBF assets of course) into the .msh of the side you want to have capes. Then copy and paste this at the bottom of rep_inf_ep3trooper's .odf (in the SWBF II assets)

AnimatedAddon = "CAPE"

GeometryAddon = "cis_inf_countdooku_cape"
AnimationAddon = "cis_inf_dooku_cape"
AddonAttachJoint = "bone_ribcage"

Do all the munging then your done.

Alternatively, you can view the entire thread from here:

very nice simple tutorial. Hopefully obi-wan will look good with an dooku cape. By the way im assuming that you also need to copy the texture files as well. right?

you placed a space in your link... heres the correct one http://www.gametoast.com/index.php?name ... highlight=

EDIT: nevermind about the question. I realize that the swbfI cape texture is the same as in swbfII. So i just copy it from the cis "side" to the "rep" side.

Thanks again busterkinkade for your tutorial.

EDIT2:Hold on. What and where do i copy the animations and paste them for it to fully work?

Cape animations...

Ah, the animations would be in the cis/munged folder of your SWBF mod tools, you should see something like cis_inf_dooku_cape.zaabin and cis_inf_dooku_cape.zafbin, copy and paste these files into the munged folder of the side you want to have capes (in the SWBF II mod tools of course).

Also I think the texture for the cape would be in cis_inf_dooku.tga however, I'm not entirely sure on that.

P.S: You must remember that the capes in SWBF are not as good as the capes in SWBF II, and the cape can sometimes go through the legs of the character that the cape is on.
