How to do "Picture-in-picture"
Hello all. I am trying to do some a cappella style music videos for youtube, and I want to know how to do something. All of the videos on youtube use picture-in-picture technology, but I can't find a free software that let's me do it. I have a mac, but it doesn't have quicktime pro, and it has iMovie 08 (The one edition of iMovie that has no support for this whatsoever
). I know I can download a free 30-day trial for a lot of software that lets me do this. However, I intend to do this for a while, so I would prefer a free, long-term solution. Any ideas?

You can't download the newer version of iMovie that DOES support PIP?

Nope, to upgrade to iMovie 11, I need to purchase the whole iLife suite or purchase individually on the mac app store.
EDIT: I also own a PC (Which is where I do my modding work), so if there are any ideas for the PC, say those too.
