HAVw A6 Juggernaut Draft Version

This is really just a very basic model of the
HAVw A6 Juggernaut, otherwise known as the Clone Turbo Tank. Due to a lack of info or schematics for the
HAVw A6 (
if you've got the Revenge of the Sith: Cross sections then get in touch!) I needed to make a starting point of reference in order to begin to work towards getting the vehicle in game. Created in about a couple of hours using AutoCAD (it's what I'm used to), I'll now be able to get and utilise the info I need direct from the draft so that I can begin working in earnest towards a fully completed, textured etc... XSI constructed version.
Again these really are just extremely rough CAD versions. An XSI version is on its way

I have one of the three prequel x-section books. Let me find it and I'll get back to ya. think it is ep3 though. Looks good btw.

Looks cool

Have you made the UV Maps as well?
And are you sure Nurbs will work just as fine in-game..?

That'd be great if you have, there was an extremely limited supply of pics or movie screenshots to work from. Primarily I used:

No I've not done anything towards the UV yet. This draft version was just a "quicky" to basically let me figure out what should go where and dimensions etc... I did look into using the .dxf importer for XSI but I'll feel more comfortable about the ability to have it in game if I start it from scratch there.

yep it's certainly the episode 3 books I need. I've not seen what the Visual Dictionaries are like, or what sort of information is contained within, but if you do decide to complete the set then any extra info on the HAVw A6 would be great.

Well, the reason I'm 'worried' regarding the UVMaps is that they reset the UVW to what it originally was - at least in Maya. I haven't seen in XSI, though - but why would there be a difference?
Isn't that also the same Juggernaut as dragonum made?

:evil: Arrgh! yep it is, D'oh! I didn't know anyone had done any work towards it. Well saved me some time I guess, I'll just have to think of something else to work on.

The x-sections I have is for AOTC. If you plan to model anything from that, I'd be more than willing to sends the pics.

do you want me to talk to him and send pictures of the concepts he based the model on?
i know they had better pictures than seen from the side
