I also noticed some bugs. You might have already fixed them but...
-Kamino CW when the ARC with the chaingun fires the sound is stuck and keeps repeating in the area in which it was fired.
-Kashyyyk Uber CW doesn't work
-Tatooine: Mos Eisley Uber doesn't work
Other than that, great mod!

The Mos Eisly crash is to do with the convo pack but not sure about the others apart from the chain gun which I have as well I think the sound file might be messed up. Kash is fine for me.

I experience no problems with Kashyyyk nor Mos Eisley, but I'm only running the 1.90 Conversion Pack, not the Phoenix Patch.
The Chaingun does sound very annoying though.

I've fixed the chaingun. I had its FireSound set to the standard chaingun's firesound, which is preset to loop indefinitely. So instead, I changed it to the BarrelSound, added in a WarmupTime of 0.001, so it responds once the fire button is pressed, and set the sound's fade-out time to 0.001, so it stops immediately after firing.

I honestly didn't understand any of that, but as long as it's fixed, I'm happy.

ok for those who got crashing problems on Convo Pack with BFX or just Convo Pack here's the solution (it does NOT fix Raxus Prime. that map is bugged for some reason and there's no way to make it run..)
well i have tryed a lot of things and the only thing that worked is this:
-Install Battlefront II
-Update to 1.1
-Update to 1.2 Unnoficial (you will have floating guns icons if you install that

)
-Conversion Pack 1.9
-Phoenix 1.8.4
-BFX 2.1
when you got everything installed. go to settings and it doesnt matter if you have a crap pile computer or an alienware. turn the Lightning Quality to Medium or Low. if its on High. most maps in Convo pack will crash for some reason specially Mos Eisley and Dune Sea...
so its simple:
-Go to Video
-Change the Lightning Quality settings.
if its on HIGH: the maps from convo pack and others will crash
if its on Medium: the maps will run fine but some maps like theed will have an annoying lightning in the floor which is a bug but its just an extreme brillant floor that burns your eyes (keep your soldier under shadows

)
if its on Low: there will be no Crashes or Annoying floor but some maps will have no shadows in it for some reason. but that happens on other maps it doesnt matter if you have the lightning quality settings on High, Medium or Low anyway..
i hope i could help someone with this. i was looking for this guide everywere and i couldnt find it so i figured how to fix everything myself
and a secondary question... why there are floating gun icons if you have BF2 1.2 Unnoficial Patch Installed?

It's actually the other way around, 'why aren't there any floating gun icons when you have the Unofficial Patch 1.2 installed?'

I don't have any floating gun icons with this patch installed. Are you sure you have it installed? You will know if it is installed properly when you see the new HUD
in-game (hint, hint, hint).

Yay! I'm glad the chaingun is fixed. (By barrel sound yo mean it sounds more like a blaster and less like a mchine gun?) I think you install 1.2 last. I did and there are no floating gun icons. Which is nice.

The rebel Merc's jet pack has a sound problem too. The noise carries on long after he lands.

Its a lot of work but I think this is a cool idea to switch up the recon droids for each faction.
GAR:

CIS:
http://starwars.wikia.com/wiki/ASN-121
Empire:

Rebels: maybe just the default
Use it if you want don't use it if you don't want

Hey! This is my first time posting hre in Gametoast.
Actually the reccon droids idea is a really good one. Something like thiswould make a lot of people to get intereseted in actually using this things. (I don“t use them at all)

for me this only happens on battle arena (i only have the first one) but there is always a floating gun slightly to the left of the unit I am controlling...

I don't have any trouble whatsoever with floating icons

You're probably missing something.

Okay, I have a very serious problem here. Any time I try to load any map (not just BFX), it crashes the instant I click Launch. This is a huge setback, that could possibly mean I have no means of testing BFX. I've tried reinstalling SWBF2 - no luck. My guess is that DirectX has something to do with it, so I'm gonna reinstall it.
Wish me luck.

Maybe tell us a little more about what you just did recently, and we could suggest something.
