Watching a few segmented speedruns of the SWBF2 campaign, I have noticed a few people doing an exploit that causes them to be able to sprint for an unlimited amount of time. Searching around didn't provide many answers on how to do the exploit. The only answer I found was to hit the roll button as soon as your stamina hit 0. I tried doing this around 100 times earlier to no success.

If anybody knows how to do this exploit, I'd be very grateful if you would share.

It can be done with cheat engine and with the fake console.

Just a note, this is against the rules to do in most major SWBF servers like SWGO.

Not to be a butthole about this but he didn't mention anything about it being used online

its a bug, which means a glitch in a game

I think cheats of kind like hacks/mods arent allowed in these speedruns... but if you read the videos comments he says bugs are allowed

To the OP, your best bet is sending the video uploader a message

he asked for the campaigne. As far as i know you cannot play this online. So he can do what ever he want.

I would do that but the account has been inactive for around 2 years now.

Offtopic: Actually you can. I've played on a server that had campaign, though it was incredibly buggy and eventually crashed.

Can we stop pretending this isn't common knowledge to almost everyone who's actively played this game online for more than a month?

As far as I know, this can only be done with units that have lightsabers (more specifically, the ability to block). If they are infinitely running with regular units, then this exploit was found after I stopped playing online.

Block until you run out of energy. Immediately block as soon as the first block drops and your energy starts filling back up. This is the infinite block glitch. Once you do this, hold down three buttons: sprint, roll, and forward (by default: L-Shift, L-Alt, W). Run forever.

Use of aforementioned exploits may get you banned from some, if not all, moderated SWBF2 multiplayer servers. Not really helpful if you don't link to a video at all. How am I supposed to know which one you're watching? For all I know, the speed runs OP was talking about could be infinitely sprinting with the heroes that are clearly available to you during the campaign.

Anywho, basic units it is. After turning bots off and screwing around for a bit, I can confirm that you have to "roll" right as you run out of stamina. It's the same key combination: L-Shift, L-Alt, W. Meaning you can't use the double-tap-to-sprint option. You have to sprint by holding down the sprint toggle key.

In short (and assuming you're using the default key bindings), sprint using L-Shift + W, then RIGHT as you run out of stamina, hold L-Alt and don't let go. Sprint to your heart's content.

Took me a few tries, but I got it twice within the span of about 3 minutes.
