Just played it, and all I can say is: Woah!

Definitely a map that's staying in my addon folder We have many Geonosis maps, but it's few of them who actually are good, or worth playing more than 1 time. I'm happy to say that we have a new map to add to the list of Great-Geonosis maps

It needs some improvements though. The amount of units on the field is perfect, don't bother changing that, but the Republic has 9 classes to choose from, while the CIS only have 5. Which makes it quite boring to play as the CIS. Therefore I suggest adding the following units to the CIS:

Standard Battledroid, with no markings.
Geonosian.
Jango Fett, of couse you would have make it the same way you did with the Jedis, so there won't be 14 Jango's running around.
Count Dooku, and make him same way as Jango.

It is almost the same with CCW. The Imperials have 1 more class to play as than the rebels, Boba Fett. I suggest that you add Han Solo to the Rebels, to balance things.

Now, the last thing, and maybe the most important: Music!
The music are... Well, boring. It's dosn't suit a huge battle. So, I was thinking about you could add some more battle-styleish music? Then it came to my mind. Why don't you use the track, that RєÅpér used in his Video? That would be awesome! I can send it to you through MSN or something, so PM me if you are interested.

Overall an awesome map, clearly worth a download.

Ok, i said in the first post, Things left to do: Add skins. I'm still going to do that, as for adding geonosians i wont add them to cis. I never found any prove that they actually also fought with the cis in the big battle and in the arena they just flyed away scared. As for adding Jango, i wont because he already died before this battle took place. And Count Dooku is already hero for cis. About the music, i don't know how to add music to maps yet, i'll find out .

Could you remove the hills in front of the AT-TEs? The CPU can't get them over the hilltop. And add Tank Droids to the CIS vehicles.

So you're thinking of making improvements...should I DL this map then, or is it worth waiting for the next version?

I'm making some little improvements for the next version, but listend to what people and the poll say, it's a worthy map.

Well, they didn't do any composing as such...

DLed the map, got some feedback. Major bug: This map refuses to let me play as the CIS or rebellion. Also, I think there should be LAATs, and STAPs for the droids. Give the techno union ships an animation when they explode as well.

As for the LAAT/I, read the first post!!! And no im not gonna put staps in cos i didn't saw them in the movie. The map refusing to let you play as rebels or cis, i don't know how to fix this. I heared it's a munge bug that sometimes never goes good again, or it solves itself. And i am already trying to find out how i get the explosions working, and the health, the techno union ships are VERY weak now.

Aherm... According to this article you can see, under casualties, that the Geonosian warriors helped the CIS Droid army, including the Geonosian chief lieutenantSun Fac, in the battle against the newly formed Republic Grand Army.

yup true if you play republic commando it's swarming with geonosian warriors, geo drone's and geo elite's

Hehehe...... I hate Geonosians lol. As for skins, i'm going to replace them with more movie like skins, like one is the yellow Clone Commander that saved Padme. Chris165, what do you mean with a cis commander? And where the heck do you think i could get a Dwarf Spider Droid, i am not a moddeler. I really don't know what's wrong, i mean the thing that refuses you to play as droids or rebels, it's freaking me out lol.

apart from the sheer rudeness and demanding attitude, i have to admit i am rather amused at the amount of units/vehicles/characters that people are asking for that have come from the Galactic Battlegrounds, and the matching expansion..."(or advanced dwarf spider droid)" that unit was only ever part of the expansion for Galactic Battlegrounds.

I don't like to have much tanker noobs in, a well the ammount of units almost wont let u play in a tank, as soon as your in one you'll get a flood of rockets to your tank. And like i said, i can not model an Dwarf Spider Droid (ORE ADVANCED ONE).
