Hello, everyone!
I'm working on my second modification for
Battlefront II. It's called
Clone Wars: Hoth. Do you know why?

If you don't know why, look at the screenies below...

Omg. this map will pwn. How much will there be on reinforcement count? I'm into massive battles.

Reinforcements will be... Kinda, 1200 per side, maybe? Good idea?

There's one problem: When I've taken/destroyed a vehicle, it won't respawn. How do I fix this...?

Not to disappoint, but there already is a clone wars hoth out there, it isnt a separate map, and it adds the mode under the normal hoth from the game. Go to starwarsbattlefront.filefront.com and find the mod 123. It basically adds every mode to every map. However, aside from that the skins look nice, and i like the idea of new maps.

I had a nice, lovely long list of things you could do with this map and was about to press 'reply' when my Internet failed and; since I can't be bothered to re-type it all again, I'll just say one thing; make sure the map has lots of debris strewn around the map. At the moment it looks quite plain with only hills and new skins (which look awesome by the way), and I think some destroyed vehicles placed in random spots would look nice. Anyway, at the moment it's looking very promising.

Laats and such things, scattered all around the map would be great. All that kind of things which can be used to take cover would be great to have around, rocks, destroyed starfighers etc. use your imagination!
Of course, these are just plain suggestions, but nonetheless I'm very excited about this map.

and please change the skins, because I don't think hoth has a tropical part to it. at least not that I know of, lol.

Well, that crashed LAATs looks "dagoba-like" so i guess that's the "tropical part"

;) They show up one time in-game, when I've taken it/destroyed it, it won't respawn... I hope you understand now.

Yes, pretty good idea, really. This is a speeder map. Not fun if it's just a plain map. I'll maybe use some (reskinned) objects from
Geonosis. Really, I love that idea with a crashed (and reskinned)
LAAT, so I'll use it.

1200 is maybe a little bit to much I think...what about 500? the battle gets really big and intense but not so long that one gets bored at the middle of it...

Yeh, 1200 is much. 500 is too small. So, I will try with 700.

Linus. I quite agree with
ML_916, I enjoy fighting in long-lasting battles, but sometimes you just don't wan't to spend 3 hours on a single battle

Offtopic: I'm not able to talk over
MSN at the moment, I'm not quite sure what's wrong, but I'll try fix it as soon as possible.
