Okay, first things first. Here's what you'll need in order to do it:

-Battlefront 1.3 beta patch (visit the following link to find out how to have 1.2 and 1.3 installed at the same time)

http://www.gametoast.com/forums/viewtopic.php?t=1485

-Fraps - http://www.fraps.com

-RAD Game Tools - http://www.radgametools.com/binkhcwb.htm

Okay, let's get started!

1-Start up Fraps, then minimize it
2-Start Battlefront 1.3 and load your map
3-Hit esc and choose 'free camera'
---- Camera controls
-------move - up, down, left, right
-------go higher/ lower - home,end
-------pause/unpause free camera - backspace
-------speed up/slow down camera - +,-
4-Use F9 to record, use it again to stop
----You can move the camera while recording, or just stay still
5-Record 3-4 short videos
6-If the game is unpaused in free cam (backspace), exit out
7-Rename the 3-4 videos modidfly1.avi, modidfly2.avi, etc
8-Start RAD Video Tools and select modidfly1.avi and hit Bink.
9-From there, open the documentation and click the link: Flythrough Videos

It's that simple!

My personal tips
-When you go to free cam, hit backspace to upause it. From there you can record live action
-Keep each recording to 3-5 seconds
-Record at least 1 Control Point, unless the best parts of your map aren't near CP's
-Try to record new content, vehicles, or battles
-Try getting really close to the ground, sitting still while recording, and letting the AI walk right over the camera.

Just post here if you have any questions.

Hey, Thanks for the info, I've always wondered how you make those videos, I tried taking screen shots and making a short .gif or .wmv but those didn't work, I'll give this a shot! Thanks

First post and a major rule broken? I could almost swear that's an instant ban. zapawaf, in future don't bump topics that are either off the first page or are more than 45 days old without good reason.

On the other hand, in order to return to the precedent Conversation, I would wish to precise that the person having brought back this topic to Life is from now on referred inside my Personal Blacklist, additionally to the fact I have assumed satisfying the Demand having been phrased along the replies written above could not be that unhelpful, even though it has progressively become the case after the Official Release of the highly-considered Star Wars Battlefront's Sequel...
