For some updates, I had some troubles adding sound regions and some for rumble in the hangar and on the bridge, but I added a nice easteregg in the main Venator.Darth_Spiderpig wrote:I had some troubles adding sound regions
Really nice! I might pm you about some other stuff later but it looks great so far.Darth_Spiderpig wrote:212Trooper wrote:Sounds very goodDarth_Spiderpig wrote:The last one was definately not off-topic, and to answer it, they will be opened

- Added MTTs
- Added C9979 Landing Crafts
- Added some crates
- Changed lighting a bit (darker now)
Not sure if I will keep the hangar dark too, so I could try, but it would help to know what emissive actually does. I know I know, this may sound noobish, but I have no clue...The Nasal Abyss wrote:If you are planning on keeping it dark in that gigantic hangar, then pay no heed to this next statement. If you want to brighten it up a little, try hex-editing the materials to be emissive. The results may not be that good either, as I haven't toyed with emissive colors very muchBut I'd say it's worth a try.
Yeah I know, I only need some light sources in the hangarmaxloef wrote:you should really add some lights it looks really bland and dull. lighting makes a map look better.
Enabling Emissive colors makes an object unreactive to all lighting and all casted shadows. The object will always appear as if all the lighting around it were white in color.Darth_Spiderpig wrote:Not sure if I will keep the hangar dark too, so I could try, but it would help to know what emissive actually does. I thought I already answered once, answer is still "not sure".DarthEste01 wrote:will-you-add-the-hyena-bombers? please just say yes or no but answer me,this is the fourth time i ask the same thing.
Okay, thanks for clearing things up. I think I will let the lighting be like it is, keeping the hangar pretty dark, I think I'll be making the shield glow in a light blue tone, also illuminating the inside of the hangar a bit. right now it looks all grey.AQT wrote:Enabling Emissive colors makes an object unreactive to all lighting and all casted shadows.
