Problems With Game!

Hey guys, I'm new here so sorry if this is in the wrong section. Well anyways I've been encountering problems with my game with it freezing up whenever I start the game, then later crashing when I start a match. I went on system requirements lab and it says that I meet the minimum requirements. So is it a problem with my disc, or is it a problem with my computer?

Do you have any mods installed? Can you run an error log?

I have Dark Times 2, and no, I don't know how to run an error log.

Question #4 - I have the CD version of SWBF2 and I get a binkw32.dll error when trying to launch the BF2_modtools.exe, what's wrong?
Answer - The BF2_modtools.exe is the debug executable, copy it from C:\BF2_ModTools and paste it in the same folder as your BattlefrontII.exe, usually:
C:\Program Files\LucasArts\Star Wars Battlefront II\GameData
you can launch BF2_modtools.exe and play your map then exit or let it crash to generate a BFront2.log located in that same folder.
If you have the DVD version of SWBF2 check THIS or THIS link for a compatible version of the BF2_modtools.exe
Note to Vista users:
If you can't find your BFront2.log it may be saved to this location:
C:\Users\<username>\AppData\Local\VirtualStore\Program Files\LucasArts\Star Wars Battlefront II\GameData
or click on the Compatibility Files button in the GameData folder.

It might have something to do with your graphics card/drivers.
Try disabling your graphics card temporarily, like this:
In XP you can disable the intergrated video by going to System Properties (control pannel/System) click on hardware tab then device manager..... Click the + sign by display adapters... Right click the adapter you want to disable then click properties and in the dialog box (t the bottom) select Disable
If it loads up fine after that, you know it's something to do with your graphics card. It also might be handy if you give us your computers specs.

My computer specs are:
Windows XP Professional 2002 Service Pack 3
Nvidia Geforce 6200
1.00 GB of RAM
Intel Pentium 4 CPU 2.53GHz
SoundMAX Digital Auto

Well have you generated an error log or what? We shouldn't have to ask you if you've tried something already suggested. You can't just sit back and wait for us to do everything - please post the log.
