I think we should start the SB2UP project or something, whose mission would be to replace some of the sub par-ish capital ship models in battlefront two, probably using the XWA community models. I think a good start would be the Medium Transport, as it has no turrets and missions wouldn't have to be changed to accomadate a new model if it was properly sized. Next maybe would be the Banking clan ship, becuase
Trageton's model is just so much better, and it has what, four sub targets?
Of course there may be a framerate issue, but, who cares?
Trust me, it's not time for that yet. Unless you have 3.5ghz processor and a 512mb gfx card. I'll have to upgrade a few things jus to be sure BF2 is silky smooth, so unfortunately I'm out as far as that goes.

I fixed the Nubian Speeder (called the Balwai Speeder in Haruun Kal: Jungle) and known more commonly around here as the Flash Speeder, though Fred said they called it the Nubian Speeder since it's not a true Flash Speeder (it has a turret instead of an autocannon).

A "
Nubian Speeder" ? I thought this was a vehicle used on Naboo, and not on Nubia...

Well, the queen's ship is Nubian. In Episode 1 Qui-Gon says "I'm looking for parts for a blah blah blah type Nubian"

In fact, "
Noobian" ships (And many other vehicles) are built around Nubian engines... That's why Qui-Gonn asked Watto to provide him replacement parts for a "
Nubian" Hyperspace module...

Nubians=the Naboo, methinks, and Nubian=one of the Naboo. It's the countrymen name ie American British Canadian French German. . .Stevek and I had a long argument about this when I wrote the background story for his Gungan City map. I'm very good at rationalising things,(not in a vader way) and suddenly GC didn't look like a failed attempt at Otah Gunga
The U.S. one is the same as the continental one. . .it's sort of like British people going by nothing but "Europeans". Maybe it should be changed to Unitinians or something. You see, Canadians, Americans, Mexicans, Panamans, Braziians, Argentinians, Chileans and all those are all Americans, but they aren't all Americans, it gets confusing. . .

Ace, don't use this A-Wing (at least not for when you release your level). I have to get feedback and make sure it's bug-free, then I'll upload the /side folder to the downloads section.

Teancum, great update! The clone wars are awsome! The clone commando, the gunship, the droid dispensor (aa something). The walker is also looking nice. Why does it have negative missiles?

Oops, the walker was supposed to be pulled lol. It's a very old version, and until Fred and I get the new one done, it's actually being worked on in a different Tech Map (my personal one).

Personal tech map? Whats that. Anyways the walker still looks good. I know I'm the one who showed you the 501st troopers msh but here is a less blocky one made by RDST if you like:

Yeah it's my personal tech map with projects that aren't far enough along to allow folks to play with em, or secret projects Fred and I are working on other stuff. I'll use that new skin, though, I'm really impressed with it.
