Yeah, once i'm good enough at rigging I want to convert that if the author allows it. Until then, though, Ggctuk made some pretty good FO stormtrooper models: http://www.swbfgamers.com/index.php?topic=10161.0

As the assets for it weren't released to my knowledge, nope.

Ginev is a member here so you could ask him.

Also I did not post those FO Stormtroopers here because they use part of a mobile app's texture for the helmet so I don't actually know if I would be allowed to post it here.

Can someone do this:
http://starwars.wikia.com/wiki/FWMB-10_ ... ng_blaster

and put the HP_Fire inside the barrel so we get this glowing effect, too.

and this:

I think this would only work for First Person Model Weapons. The muzzleflash effect works for both first and third person. But the laser texture always comes from the middle of the character (In third person) instead off the barrel. So you would only have a first person effect with glowing holes.

It appears to use scaled down assets from SW The Clone Wars Raxus Prime, and some of rends mos eisley, so we could get pretty far as we do have Rends, scaled down raxus and tie tanks

Was an E-Web turret with a seat ever released? I know there's one in Anakin's RCM mode but I haven't seen it anywhere else. Thanks

Do you know what the msh is named? Search returned an odf but there was no model referenced in it.

BFX's e-web has no seat as far as i remember. I got my one from DarthD.U.C.K. He used it in RAS Prosecutor Hangars first.

But they decided to not publish their assets. So you should ask DarthD.U.C.K., Ande or AQT for permission. They worked together on the map. Not sure who exactly made the e-web.

Okay thanks, I'll do that. I may even try making my own, we'll see :D

Is there any reason why Battlefront Extreme won't appear in the game after an install? I downloaded BFX2.2 with conversion pack 2.2 and the unofficial 1.3 patch but the BFX sides aren't showing up like the .exe install said they would

It only works on select maps and is an era of its own, if it doesn't work reinstall the entirety of bfx

Hey!

I had found t551's T-21 model in the asset link thread, and tried my hand at making a skin that would look like it'd fit with the look and style of the stock weapons. I spent some time, and got something satisfying:

Image

I wanted to give it to a unit in my map, so I gave it to the Shock Trooper as I worried it was too powerful of a weapon to give to one of the starting classes. But then, disaster struck.

Image

AAAHHHHHH!

It appears that the model is not exactly positioned where I would ideally like it to be positioned. What's more, while there is a hp_fire in the .msh (I see it in the hex editor), it seems the muzzle flash is appearing in the middle of the model.

Unfortunately for me, I don't really know how to fix this conundrum and get the weapon to be held in the right position/move the muzzle flash.

So my request is that someone do this presumably relatively quick task for me, if they are willing, as I haven't the knowledge to do it myself.

The model in question can be found here in the MediaFire link: http://www.gametoast.com/viewtopic.php?f=64&t=12453

Here ya go:
http://www.mediafire.com/download/242n6 ... sz/t-21.7z

The dummyroot and hp_fire node names were swapped and the geometry transforms weren't frozen.

Thank you so much! This was a life saver (map saver?). I'd done so much on the texture that I'd have hated to see it go to waste. Thanks again!

The whole character is flipped on the X axis, this is how 3DOC exports CWA dme files. You just need to flip it back after importing the obj in XSI, but operations like this are much easier when they have not been skinned yet. :)

Here ya go:
http://www.mediafire.com/download/gxbbp ... 2_FIXED.7z

I flipped the pauldron, backpack, forearms and helmet on X and deleted the user normal clusters.
