It doesn't have to be related to Star Wars - that's his choice. You can't rate the map properly on whether it has to be about Star Wars or not. That's not going to tell him anything apart from you'd prefer it to be Star Wars related.
I didn't say what I thought of the map, though. It was a nice map, and it worked, but there needs to be a few more barriers and you could do with using less sharp height variation. And of course the sides and sounds need touching up, too. 7/10 from me :D

That's a really shallow way to rate a mod, considering the whole point of a mod is to add new things into the game/

I don't mean this in a mean way, but exactly how much of your brain is...well.....gone?

Mods are suppose to add NEW things to Battlefront. They don't even HAVE to be related to STAR WARS in anyways. Sure, it's a Star Wars game, but does that limit EVERYONE here to making Star Wars mods? NO. It doesn't. Modding Star Wars Battlefront is a way for people to express what THEY want to see in a game and show others that despite it originally being in a Star Wars game, it can be about anything they want it to. How they carry it out, well, that's up to them and if they want a team of modders...and it also depends on dedication as well, or otherwise it wouldn't be made.

I made skins of things that were not even remotely related to Star Wars and so have others. I made a skin based on a Power Armored Brotherhood of Steel soldier skin on another site I've seen... THAT has to deal with FALLOUT 3. Obviously this mod/map here is based on the Terminator franchises. You are only limited by your imagination, not what the original game portrays.

Your excuse is like saying, "I'm sorry I can't make it to school today -- because I don't like the exterior of the school." ....say what? O_o

To any moderator, if this is taking it too far, let me know. This just HAD to be said..at least I felt it needed to be said.

i only said that I generally don't like maps form SWBF2 wich have nothing to do with Star Wars, i haven't said that i disdain the work of General_Nate.

my coment wasn't against you, your map or work. If it sounds so that i hated your map or that i disdain your work, i'm very sorry. your moding you had to do on xsi ( for the Coke automats or the buildings) are grerat.

No, you didn't only say that you disliked maps from SWBF2 that had nothing to do with starwars. STOP USING GOOGLE TRANSLATE on sentences you can't remember how to translate!!!!! German (that's your native language right?) really uses a lot of words in a different way than English. In your original post, the translation of what you said would be:

It's ok if you don't like my map because it's not Star Wars. I appreciate your opinion. It will not change anything that I do in the future, regarding modding.

And yes, please don't use Google Translate. You are saying things that I don't think you mean to say.

Thanks, but I didn't make anything in XSI. I just took other people's released assets, and put them into one, awesome, map.

I would recommend to use your brain in the future.

Think before you post something (I know,I know, my post in the film topic wasn't well thought too, no need in reminding me of that again) and remember, it is alright if you are no native english speeker, but I am sure you can do better than just google translate your message or whatever.

Btw, nice work on the map General. Loved the terminator droid thing. :thumbs:

Well, we all seem to agree that it doesn't deserve a 1/10 for not being SW-related, but if that quality makes or breaks a mod for Anakin, that's his choice. We shouldn't jump all over him for giving it a 1/10 when four other anonymous people also did. Face it, if you make a poll, a sizable amount of people are going to give it either a 1/10 or a 10/10 just for the heck of it. Ignore those, say I.

offtopic: Just read your "review" Fiodis and it made me :funny2:

@General_Nate - I haven't actually played the map so i don't know for sure but from the pics it looks like a pretty awesome map. About the medics running into walls, i don't know if you've fixed it yet, but i'd recommend barriers to stop it.

Thanks. I will fix those bugs in the 1.1/2.0 map.

NOTE:
To all you non-believers, there actually ARE barriers. Trust me, I worked and worked on trying to stop those dumb medics from hugging the walls... :roll: I thought I fixed it. Oh well, like I said, I will fix everything in the 1.1/2.0 map.
