Oh sure, I do know that finishing the colour map first is best, but what I meant by "working on the simultaneausly", was that I kept certain details, like ridges and dents, on a seperate layer to not produce a bump map that has bumps on scorchmarks etc. :)

Just something Im working on in the last time:
Image
Still WIP, the first sculpt i worked on more than 2 hours. Learned a lot on the way(Transpose is awsome :D). Its going in the millions of polies now(note that the render has only hard edges).
Might have some weird proportions but its a fantasy character.

The basemesh(es) if someones interrested:

The wicked witch of the west?
Seriously though, that sculpt looks great. I really really like the folds in the pants, they really show something about what type of material it is.

I'm gonna go out on a limb and guess it's either Skull Kid or Sora. Either way, that's a great model, man. :)

Some Environment Modeling practice. I just like modeling retro Diners for some reason, must be too much Fallout or the fact I find the USA 40s-50s interesting from a cultural/style perspective

Great model, I also have been interested in 40s-50s America. I vaguely remember your diner interior. You building off of that?

Because I am always bored in my CAD class, I decided to make a simple gun to pass the time.

Looks nice Thunder, although I personally think it looks a bit angular in places - but that's probably just me. ;)

And here's something of mine:

You might want to scale it on the X axis, but everything elses fine. Good job.
