Ok me again with my damned game. Ok I need to to a quest for the Fighters Guild of seeing where all these townsfolk are diapering too by Swampy Cave. So I go there and find all the bodies and a troll. I kill the troll and the objective doesn't pop up. SO I thought maybe I killed before I was spose too, so I load up the autosave when I first entered the cave. I go to the green arrow and wait for an objective to pop up. But it didn't and as I was waiting the troll was beating the crap outta me. So I killed it before it killed me and still no objective. I stood there for 5 min. Nothing.

Does anyone know what's the matter? Did I do it wrong?

I dont really know why the quest sounds bugged, reget quest? But in the short term solution , dont let trolls beat you up. do the item drop cheat if you have to and kill his stinky troll arse.

Ive had the exact same problem with the same quest. I just quit after I tried like 5 times. I have Oblivion on Xbox 360 and PC. The PC one worked fine with that quest.

If you got it for 360 look for patches on XBL marketplace
