I played Thief games but still this map reminds me on the blood planet level from dark forces just with different colors, perhaps because of all that strange structures (although I must admit that Thief games hab also many strange buildungs but still it feels different)

BTW, it seems that SWBF2 will never die

Update:

Random skydomes + effects done for these planets:
Ark Mion (Cloudy, Clear, Rainy)
Cyanus Prime (Cloudy, Clear)
Maloss (Cloudy, Stormy, Clear Night)
Still need to do more to get day/night working on most planets....

Oh and Mini-Campaigns are actually working. They're simple but fun. Mini-camps so far are:
Maloss - team based, republic.
Rhen Var - single player, republic. Play as covert ops unit.
Veriss - single player, CIS. Play as advanced sniper unit.

BTW if anyone wants to play through Rhen Var I'll put up a beta along with next Maloss beta (use same sides).

Public beta....not closed.... Therefore no need to sign up. And feedback will only be needed on the campaign part since there's nothing that can be done about the map (no source files).

Are there any custom GCW sides or will it use Mav's Dark Times sides?

CW Era: made by me. 4/6 Clone legions made by others.
Dark Times Era (replaces GCW era): Mav's obviously.


No gcw era, its too similar to DT and would mean a heap of extra work for me.

i never really like the GCW anyway, the clone wars seems abit cooler but the films made it look stupid

OFF-TOPIC: I like the GCW far more than CW, I mean what can be cooler than to restore peace in the galaxy by kicking some rebel you-know-what .
Well the real reason why I love GCW is my hatred against the new trilogy, and the absolute lack of tactics shown in the battle of geonosis.
IMHO the OT was telling us the star wars story and the NT was showing us what computer effects specialists in hollywood can do.
