I accidently subdivided my model, and there is no undo option for subdividing. Luckily the model only took me a few minutes, but for future reference i was wondering how to remove accidental subdivision on blender, or if it wasn't possible.

Ctrl + Z

Works every time for me. I use Blender a lot, or at least I used to. I really should get back to modeling.

Obviously i tried undo. :P It does nothing except change the last thing i did EXCLUDING subdivide, for example it deselects the vertices i had selected previously..

EDIT 1: I think i must have accidentally subsurfed it. Sorry. Its just that my model became a curved shape based on the original model, inside it. Its hard to describe clearly.

EDIT 2: Also had another question. :P
What is the best way for one to make an arch/curve? I'm trying to make a curved arch over an entrance and was not sure of the best way to achieve this...My current method consists of subdividing the top edge then extending the extra vertice up and repeating the subdivision until it looked curved enough.

EDIT 3: OK. For anyone that uses blender, I'd highly reccommend a look at this tutorial on creating archways: http://yorik.uncreated.net/tutorials/ar ... ender.html. It's pretty cool, useful and will help you understand the features of blender a bit better. I'm not sure what the sound is like, as I'm having trouble with my computer at the moment, but it looks like an awesome video....Does one of the staff feel like adding it to the Blender FAQ's/Tutorials?

One downside though, is that it uses the old interface, so anyone unfamiliar with the new one will have a bit of trouble finding the features he mentions....

EDIT 4!: Haha. I'm getting on in the edits aren't I? I figured it was better to keep posting my questions here then start another topic.....Does using the subsurf tool have any benefits whatsoever for bf2 models?
