So what do u guys think of the new Hawx game? Personally, I love it. Best air battles I've ever been in. I've only played the demo, and now I really wanna get the game! But I'm not sure if I should get it for PC or 360. What do u guys think? I'm leaning more towards PC.

The demo is what caused me to red ring, so I don't really have good relations with this game. I'd get the PC version, it probably has better features.

Totally boring and unrealistic.

It was a nice change of pace from Shooters for me, though it took awhile to get used to, and the controls are still really annoying, and the machine gun was useless. It had some cool features but, I didn't find it insanely fun.

I think it's a poor excuse for a flight sim . But then again, I'm kinda alone in liking realistic flight simulators...

i played it at a friend's and i gotta say there is nothing special on it, you get no real feel of the speed you fly at and the atmosphere is everything but intense in my opinion (you dont feel like a pilot of a technically extremely advanced jet, executing dangerous orders, you feel more like a remote-jet "pilot" doing some nice maneuvers and preessing buttons when red things blink) and thats the most important of "simulations" in my opinion - feeling like its really happening

So, from what I can gather, it's not worth the money.

Agreed. I've never been a flight sim guy, but it just wasn't very fun for me considering the hype around the game.

I played it once and I got to say, not worth it. For a flight simulator I would advise Freelancer, it's a little older but, excellent graphics for such an old game. I enjoy it. But,it's a space fighter game so I don't know if you would like that or not.

Well, I like modern warfare where you can fly jets like F-16 and F-22s. Can someone suggest any other games besides Hawx?

My favorite is the oldschool number 2 for psone.

I just looked up Ace Combat and it looks good. Which Ace Combat do u recommend?

Ace Combat is more arcade than sim.
I suggest you get LockOn, Wings over Europe or Wings over Vietnam.

Blazing Angels Series is not bad.Its a nice Arcade Flight Combat Game.I liked Part 2 much for a short Time.

Yes, but it's a good arcadish game, sometimes you have to trade realism for fun gameplay.

@nova: well, there is only one Ace Combat title for the Xbox-360 (as far as I know), and that is Ace Combat 6: Fires of Liberation.
