ok i have uploaded a mod to filefront and i think i'll let you all see it before it gets reviewed on filefront so here is the link for gamefront.

http://www.gamefront.com/files/20436487 ... ns+mod.exe

here is the readme
Hidden/Spoiler:
ok this is a mod from my (DC)Dedicated (realistic weap) server. i have worked on it for over a month slowly changing more and more things. this is version 1.0 but i have made like 30 other version before it but this will be the first one released. i have modded every single weapon, bullet, explosion, hero, unit, tank, and more. the vehecal explosions can kill now. all of the weapons are improved to be a bit more realistic. now a high powered sniper shot will kill, any type of headshot will kill an enemy, explosion radiuses and their pushes/damages are better. lightning based attacks have push on them. hero mode is less realistic than it is an extra, some of it could be called realistic, like lightning having push(if you don't beleive that it has push then you should have seen what happened to mace in episode III). choke is now a force crush of sorts. i would recommend testing out some of the weapons and see how you like them. a few of the units healths (wookiee, dark trooper, wampa) are increased. also turrets are extremely deadly so are tanks. heros (and wampas) have infinite stamina. jet packs have infinite fuel (including vader and the emperor). mace and emperor smash attacks are improved also.

hailfire and alliance tank rockets have no waver now but if you are a person joining i you won't see that they aren't wavering, but if you point at something with the aimmer and fire the rockets then that thing will take damage when the invisable rocket hits it, you would be able to see the waver not being there if you had the mod installed and are the host, keep that in mind"

gamming tips for this mod: this mod makes the game alot different than the regular game, you will have to learn to use cover and be smart in battle, remember you aren't rambo so you can't charge like rambo. you can use a tank as cover but if you do you have to keep in mind that tanks explode. also i would recommend using a squad format instead of one man army, even if it is just some ai for body guards it could help. one more thing, heros are strong but in conquest mode they tend to be extremely weak if used like regular. you should try to play the mod a bit to get some battle experience in it, it isn't like what you have seen most of the time before

instructions: go to the "C:\Program files\LucasArts\Star Wars Battlefront II\GameData\DATA\_LVL_PC\SIDE" folder and replace the files that are there with the modded ones.

Instrutions(for dedicated): go to the "C:\Program files\LucasArts\Star Wars Battlefront II PC Server\data\_LVL_PC\SIDE" folder and replace the files that are there with the modded ones.

Backup intructions: put the orginal files in a safe place just incase u don't like the changes. if u want to uninstall just move the modded files out of the SIDE folder and put the original ones back in.

***NOTES***
I recommend having at least some file based knowledge before attempting.
This mod has only been tested on windows XP if u have win7 or vistas take more precaution.
This will not work if u are not the host.
the mod will allow others to join if you are the host and they will have the same effects of the mod as you
if you join a server that doesn't have the mod while you have the mod on you will most likely crash.

Hmmm, so you basically just upped the kill power of all the weapons right?
Not that it's that bad, high power weapon mods can be alot of fun, they just have to be played differently.
I once made a mod that was one shot-one kill, super fun, but you died and killed just as much as the stock game, it was all how you played it ( and how much you took cover ).

i am now working on version 2.0 since i have just found out that ingame.lvls can be changed and still have no extra crashes (unless you are the joining person).

EDIT: hmm filefront rejected the file and i got no message/email back. i wonder what happened.
