Map Crashing :( (help! (please))

I don't know why but my map keeps crashing. i followed all the instructions for everything but it doesn't work. could it be because i added too many objects or command posts?

Another thing, i am having problems changing the default rebel alliance ship spawns on space maps, can someone post instructions on how to change default ships into custom ships like the N-1, falcon, Virago, or k-wing.

please someone help me turn :cry: into :D :D

Do you have the CD version of the game? If so, copy the BF2_modtools.exe to your /Star Wars Battlefront II/Gamedata folder. When you run it (it's a debug version of the game) it will produce a log. Past that log here, but remove any sections that have "inVehicle" as those are not important.

Those are your problems right there. It can't find some of the source files for some of those custom ships you're putting in. What did you do to add them to your map?

So far I copied the "all" side from the assets and put them in my side folder. Then I put the source files in their right places within the alliance side by making an "effects" folder in the "all" folder and copying everything in the odf,msh,effects,req folders into the same folders within the alliance side. Then I opened the req file for the "all" and put in "all_fly_n1", "all_fly_kwing", "all_fly_virago", and "all_fly_falcon" on one of the lines. I started up ZE and changed the "all_fly_xwing_sc", "all_fly_ywing_sc", "all_fly_awing", and "all_fly_gunship_sc" to "all_fly_n1", "all_fly_kwing", "all_fly_virago", and "all_fly_falcon" in the object instance properties for the spawn zones. Then I went into MSMg_cmn.LUA and changed this:

"all_inf_pilot",
"all_inf_marine",
"all_fly_xwing_sc",
"all_fly_ywing_sc",
"all_fly_awing",
"all_fly_gunship_sc",
"all_veh_remote_terminal")

to this:

saved it, then went into modtools visualmunge cleaned out common and the "all" side the munged common and the "all" side.

When I go into Battlefront II there isn't any ships
