Changing AI Priorities

Hi, ive been around here forever and decided to come back for one last try
After playing a game of Battlefront 1 i realized the AI is far more superior, im not talking about hintnodes or planning.
What im after is the way the ai chooses a target.
In Swbf 1 the ai will choose a target wich seems the more dangerous, say you the player are a common battledroid and attack a clone trooper,
the AI will fire at you.
However when for example a droideka get close and starts fireing the ai will target that droideka, from what i can tell they target things more on how much damage a unit does, or it just fires at what firing at it.
Now in SWBF 2 ive noticed the ai will target YOU and only YOU whatever you do, this may be fine in campaign mode but when it comes to larger scale battles it can make things very boring when the AI doesnt do much expect for walking a around and just doing whatever the player is doing.
from my experiance this BF1 AI makes the battle far more believable and authentic it gives you the feeling your JUST another trooper out there, just some conscript or random droid that will make a diferance if it tries hard enought.
In BF2 your THE player its allready predetermained that you will make a diference and thats a philosophy great for like rep commando or JKA but not for SWBF2
Now what i want to know if there is a way to fix this, to get the AI to make the player as important as AI random unit 123.
