This might sound weird but could you give a jedi a force power where it looks like he is using force push but make machine gun bullets and effects shoot from his hand? Thanks in advanced.

I'm pretty sure you'd just change the ord file to a laser/whatever file.

Its quite simple. Take away a gun msh. and give it the force push animation. Add the push function in and turn damage to 0.

how would I do that?

I suggest you look at some forcepower odfs, some weapons odf, try to figure them out a bit, fool around with them a bit so you understand what does what.

We could tell you exactly what to do, but understanding the odfs will make you able to make stuff yourself next time you want to make something. And it might give you some cool ideas.
